We present the official Let it Ride IPA description: Riding a bicycle is all about freedom and discovery. You never know what you’ll experience or where your two wheels might take you. We like to think the same could be said about our Let it Ride IPA. Brewed with Calypso, Mosaic and El Dorado hops, American Crystal Malt and German Dark Munich Malt, this is an IPA with adventurous tendencies. Enjoy the aromas of pear, tropical fruit, and blueberry and ponder where your next ride might take you. (6.8% ALC. by VOL., 90 IBU)

Can... Pours clear and brilliantly copper with a fluffy, off-white head. The aroma mainly features grapefruit, but also a tad of evergreen resin. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and adequate carbonation. Loads of citrusy, rindy bitterness, flanked by an afterthought of medium-roast malts. Finishes crisp, clean and fairly bitter. I’m really digging this. Can courtesy of BVery!

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2015 Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of pine, grass, slight biscuit, sweet orange, grapefruit in there as well, touch of spice, slight caramel, toffee notes come through. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, hints of grass, pine, slight earth, touch of yeast, finishing fairly bitter, slightly sweet. Rerate: 3/10/15, much better than I remember, nice tropical fruit, blueberry, dry pine, but nice malt backbone without being sweet. Decent for sure.

Tap at the brewpub. Another killer hop-forward beer from Indeed. Tropical fruit dominates, with some berry sweetness underneath. Nice hop punch with good balance. Awesome.

26/IV/14 - 12Fl. Oz. can @ ZBF 2014 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2014-413) Thanks to Mathieu87 for sharing the can!

Clear amber beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable. Aroma: sweaty feet, cheese, little sweet, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit fruity, caramel, sourish touch, bitter, bit of English feel to it, cheesy touch, soft fruity notes. Aftertaste: bitter hops, some citrus, grains, fruity, grapefruit, cheesy again. Not bad.

Draft on tap at Hoppy Gnome (St. Paul, MN). Pours a deeper dark copper hue, some decent haze in the middle, ruby copper glow with frothy tannish head atop. Nice cascading bubbles, darker body with a nice glow that grows on me. Initial is fruity and tropical, nice jabs of mango and tropical fruit, earth and citrus rind. Mellow grass, florals, a nice hop slant and a bit juicy life here. Gentle sweeter elements are a bit of biscuit, bread, gentle caramel. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, a sharper floral appeal hits the palate quickly. Firm bitterness, grapefruit rind and earth. A bit pithy, big grapefruit juice glows with a bitter floral and subtle metallic backend. The darker body and more significant malt bill kicks a bit, some tropical fruit, guava and passionfruit life into the backend. Bitter green and kiwi life with florals, star fruit and earthy florals. A bit of almost mint coolness, some earth and decent hop bitterness, like Galaxy or something Australian. Bitter, a bit toasty as we finish with that firmer hop slant. Overall that biscuity and toasty malt profile jabs at times but the hops really run the show here, keeping this a bit lighter and firmly bitter. Tasty. While the nose is complex, it doesn’t pop as strong. Flavors bring it back, that firmer base is a touch brooding but the hops keep it at bay.

Thanks to Mathieu87! 355 ml. can sampled. Clear dark amber with a tanned head. Huge resinous nose, lots and lots of pine, quite sticky brown sugar, caramel and tree sap feel. Thick resinous pine explosion in the taste, huge bitter grapefruit peel, caramel, rock candy, very easy to drink. Airy body. Excellent IPA, being very fresh obviously played a big part in my enjoyment.

Pours a slightly hazy orange copper body under a one finger foamy beige head that faded to a thin covering. The nose is nicely citrusy, but with a bit more of a caramel malt backbone than I prefer in the style. The favor is plenty hoppy, much like the nose, but the malt sweetness dominates a bit too much towards the finish, leaving a lingering brown sugar and caramel finish. Medium bodied and a little clingy toward the back end with fizzy carbonation. Not a huge fan of this one, which is a shame, because they certainly did a great job with the hop bill

Picked up a single 12-oz can from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a semi-clear orange dark brown colored brew with a thick off-white head that leaves behind some excellent lacing and a thick film top. Aroma of citrus and heavy caramel malt, a touch of burnt sugar and white pine. Taste is full bodied, average carbonation with flavors of roared caramel malt, multi hop profiles ranging from tropical to citrus to floral. Finish has a little burnt caramel malt profile with plenty of pine, citrus and grassy hops. One of the more grain profile IPA.
