On tap at brewpub, pours a dark brown/black with a small tan head. Not picking up much espresso in aroma, lots of hops, citrus, and chocolate. Iím really enjoying the balance of the bitter earthy espresso with chocolate and bright hops here. Put this on nitro please!!

Sampled from the Firkin at Happy Gnome Firkin Fest 2015. Pours black with a bubbly brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of espresso and roasted malts with slightly sweet dark grains underlying. Flavor has a nice dry bitter espresso note with dark grains and roasted malts backing as well as a hint of bitter chocolate.

Sampled at Winterfest 2014. Very dark brown pour with a white head. Coffee on the taste, and a really nice bold coffee aroma. Good brew!

Had on tap at the brewery in a shaker pint. I had low expectations for this beer after having had other Midnight Ryder infusions and being under impressed with the flavor. Donít get me wrong I love the Ryder, but itís potent flavors mask almost anything you throw on top of it except for the espresso in this case. The coffee marries well with this black ipa and gives it even more stout like character.

Tap at brewery. Pours dark. Lots of coffee on the tongue, nice hop flavor. Very good actually.

On tap at Indeed, dark coffee pour with tan frothy head. Very light scents of coffee and hops. Taste is better than the aroma beholds, big bitter coffee, malt and hops. Almost gives off a spicy like taste from the mix, not bad! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Indeed. Moderate hops in the aroma and more in the flavor. Intense coffee flavor makinh this beer bitter. Some complexity with roasted malt. On tje up side of coffee beers.
