I thought it was pretty good and an interesting taste with ginger infused beer. There wasnít so much ginger that it turned me off to the taste of the beer. This was good but trying it once was good enough for me.

Big bottle. Canít detect ginger in the nose or taste. More cinnamon and maybe allspice. Subtle favors. Light for 7%. Not bad. Dark red with a big tan head. Murky. Very good.

Spice and a bit sweet in the aroma. Nice dark malty color with lacing along the glass. Winter spice and ginger are quick to taste and are a bit sweet. Nice winter beer Indeed!

750ml bottle from Atom, thanks Adam! Pours a deep red-brown colored body with a finger-width, creamy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing throughout. Aroma is fresh ginger and a pleasant malt sweetness. Maybe a touch of honey and a light spice as well. Flavor is similar. A good amount of fresh ginger, but well balanced with a nice, light-medium malt sweetness. Touches of bread, a bit of a floral note, and a hint of honey towards the end as this finishes with a light spicing and bitterness balanced with a clean malt sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a smooth, medium body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, not a lot of complexity to this one, but really well balanced and extremely easy drinking. Very nice ginger note throughout with a light spicing and a touch of honey to add to the pleasant malt backing. Good beer.

Tap at Aster Cafe. Pour is reddish/amber with white head. Aroma of spices and malt. Ginger is noticeable but not overpowering. Taste has hint of spice but finishes sweet. Well balanced. Not a typical over spiced holiday ale.

Nice, malt-forward holiday beer. Dark brown/ruby pour, decent head. Aroma of ginger and malt sweetness. The ginger doesnít come through quite as much in the taste as I was hoping, but instead you get a subtle, nicely balanced, malty brew. Very solid overall.

Winterfest 2013. Dark brown. Some sweetness in the aroma with ginger. Dry malt flavor with more ginger. Solid beer.

Brown color with a small head. Ginger and nutmeg aroma. Very potent ginger flavor. After warming, itís pretty dominant. Definite nutmeg and maybe some cinnamon. Light caramel and dry malt. Almost seemed like an old tobacco character as well.

Amber pour. Quick head. Ginger and light toasted malt. Flavour is ginger spice, light bready malt. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
