Brewed with Sorachi Ace hops, Glacier County Honey, and locally malted red wheat Shenanigans Summer Ale has a zesty, citrus-filled aroma, refreshingly dry body, and notes of honey that weave in and out of this thirst quenching summer ale. So brave the humidity and enjoy the long days because summer is time for Shenanigans.

Draft. Pale gold in colour with medium carbonation. Basic wet grain and mild herbal hop aromas. Cleanish grainy malt, earthy herbs and wet stones in the mouth. Light bodied with a moderate bitterness. Not all that "wheaty". Seems a bit bland and pointless.

On tap at Brasa. Pours a near clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of sweet wheat with a bit of honey and some light fruits. Flavor is similar with sweet wheat and honey up front and a touch of light fruit in the finish.

I was expecting a hoppier twist on a wheat ale coming from Indeed but the smell is almost wet cardboard. Taste is better but still no pop, just a standard easy drinking wheat beer. There are less expensive, better options.

Can. Pours a hazy golden with a medium, fluffy, white head. Aroma is mild with honey and wheat. Flavor is wheat, light, grassy hops, honey, citrus notes, more fruit, and some spices. Light body with medium carbonation. Good quality for goes down fast.

Can. Golden with small white head. Aroma of citrus, pear, and a hint of honey. Light body with some bread notes, citrus, and some honey. An ok offering.

Tap at Psycho suzi. Plastic cup. Gold with good white head and decent lacing. Smells citrus and sweet. Honey and very slight hop resin elements. Nice finish. Clean and refreshing.

Can from Zipp’s Liquors. Fruity nose, with light citrus, wheat, lemon, and the Sorachi pumps it up a bit. Light gold straw color. Mild sweet fruit (apples, pears), honey, and gentle wheat notes (which add a very light sour edge). Thin body. Nice stuff. Good aroma from the Sorachi. Wheat aspect is rather muted.

Good beer for the summer. Not my favorite style but it is good quality. Being served in cans, makes it easy to put a few down in a short amount of time.

16 oz. pour, on tap at Lago Tacos in Minneapolis. Consumed on 7-9-14. Pours a hazy yellow with a small amount of beige head. Looks like juice in the glass. “Beery,” fruity smell features a bit of a vomit scent. Definitely a subpar aroma. Orange and lemon in the aroma and flavor. The taste becomes increasingly dry upon multiple sips. Boring taste. Light, thin body. Frothy and soft in the palate. This is not up to par with most of Indeed’s other output. I’ve had the Mojito version of this beer previously, and it was utterly disgusting. This beer is not nearly as bad, but it is far from good. My honest unsolicited advice to Indeed is to discontinue this beer. There’s some segment of the population for which Shenanigans will be their first Indeed experience, and it will lead them to the incorrect conclusion that Indeed is a poor brewery.
