2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draught at the Indeed Brewing Company’s taproom in Minneapolis, MN. pours a clear golden straw colored brew with an average sized off-white head that has some nice retention and lacing. Aroma is almost absent. hints of golden grain malt, some light floral hops, white bread, and a touch of yeast. Taste is light bodied, more of the wheat malt present than in aroma with a short lived mild bitterness. Finish is light, a hint of pear, golden grain malt and some mild hops. one of the lightest wheat ales I’ve encountered.

Good beer for the summer. Not my favorite style but it is good quality. Being served in cans, makes it easy to put a few down in a short amount of time.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
16 oz. pour, on tap at Lago Tacos in Minneapolis. Consumed on 7-9-14. Pours a hazy yellow with a small amount of beige head. Looks like juice in the glass. “Beery,” fruity smell features a bit of a vomit scent. Definitely a subpar aroma. Orange and lemon in the aroma and flavor. The taste becomes increasingly dry upon multiple sips. Boring taste. Light, thin body. Frothy and soft in the palate. This is not up to par with most of Indeed’s other output. I’ve had the Mojito version of this beer previously, and it was utterly disgusting. This beer is not nearly as bad, but it is far from good. My honest unsolicited advice to Indeed is to discontinue this beer. There’s some segment of the population for which Shenanigans will be their first Indeed experience, and it will lead them to the incorrect conclusion that Indeed is a poor brewery.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can. Yellow with a thin white cap and spotty lacing. Smells like honey, grain, light lemon juice and bread. Taste is mildly sweet with a honey wheat bread flavor. Seems like a slightly better version of Leinies honey weiss with lemon built in.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of wheat and some light citrus. Taste follows aroma. Not too shabby.

Poured from a can into a tulip. My least favorite offering from Indeed. There isn’t enough going on with this beer for me to stay interested.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Got this on tap at Rathskeller in Duluth, MN. Pours a dark gold. Hopped with Sorachi Ace hops, but its distinctive flavor comes from the malted red wheat. A refreshing and light beer, but with malty and slightly sour undertones. Worth a taste.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy yellow-golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of lemon, biscuit, some grass, pine, spicy notes, touch of white fruits, hints of orange peel as well, some floral notes as well. Taste is floral, grassy, some earthy notes, nice white fruit and citrus, finishing with some biscuit and bready notes, finishing fairly dry, clean.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can: very hazed, yellow-good body with a huge, off-white head; chunky & long lasting, leaving nice lacing behind. Aroma is very faint; a touch of musk, some leafy hops, & a mild lemon spritz at the tail end. Taste has more going on with some buttered bread & cracker malt, sweet honey mid-palate, light leafy, grassy hops, & just a touch of lemon-y zest to finish it off. Slight bitterness balances the honey sweetness nicely. An aceton-y flavor comes out with some warmth that hinders the score. Otherwise a nice summer drinker.

Can. Nothing too interesting here, it is past summer, this beer isn’t what I need atm.

Yummer summer beer. Definitely a beer to be had with brats or corn. It’s something I recommend to customers who want a light but interesting summer drink. Aroma is ok, but it’s the taste journey that I love; it starts off with a skunky, Indeed-y style kick and finishes like a good breakfast cereal, sweet and intriguing. Maybe one of my favorite summer ales. Lovin the honey.
