Dull caramel with no hops and little malt to redeem it. I wasn’t disappointed when I had finished the pint.

TX Brew Fest. Aroma is a nice malt, and it pours like iced tea with a strawberry syrup within it. Taste is a biting hops and roasted malt. Palate is slippery. Nice effort, but a few tries away from an excellent beer. Keep trying!

Clean, refreshing. Very impressed with everything from Independence. I tried a lot of what would be called their "smaller" beers, and I thought they were of quality. The amber was no different.

very clean and simple, what you´d expect of a competent amber. lightly nutty with only a hint of bitterness

Musty, woody, caramel amber. Bright amber color (surprise surprise). Malty base with a bit of fruit, though slight. Strong carbonation tingling my tongue, mild bitterness, with a long finish in the mid-back of the tongue. A bit of burn seemed to hit my lips--was it really the alcohol?
