COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special blend of malted barley - lightly to darkly roasted - creates layers of toasty sweetness, balanced by the citrusy notes of Cascade hops. Burnt orange with a laid back finish, this is the beer of Austin.

Pours a clear amber color with white head. Caramel malt, toast, and some bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little hop citrus. A nice amber ale.

Clean brown body and tiny head. Biscuit malts, lightly herbal hopped, very clean yeast, lager like. Light toffee taste but mostly a light malty bitterness that’s not very lasting. Bit disappointing. (On tap at The Liberty Tavern Austin)

Bottle. Boring, amber flavor. Dull color, no head. Bit of a hoppy aftertaste. Ok at best.

Can poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and light yeast. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and a hint of spice with a smooth lingering carmel finish.

Malty, fresh, and flavorful. Good hops on the finish balance this beer nicely. I don’t understand the low ratings either. For an amber ale, it is excellent. Ambers are usually kind of boring, but the Indi amber was so fresh & Flavorful. I just loved it.

Had it on tap at the Friendly Spot in San Antonio, and poured a slim head and had a sour hop aroma. Has a bitter hop taste with a smooth finish.
