3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 22, 2011Bottle:   Oklahoma Suks bottle, deeper amber, a little dirty, large rocky off-white head, nice lacing.   Soft malty notes on the nose, even a smigen of fruitiness.   Low hops.   Straight foward maltiness up front, decent body, clean finish.   Nothing fancy, nothing out of the ordinary, but I actually liked this one because it was fairly smooth, clean, minor sweetness, malty without being grainy, and it has a low hop profile.   Enjoyed this more than I thought I would.   Thanks Bill for the bottle!

Can poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and light yeast. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and a hint of spice with a smooth lingering carmel finish.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 IndiLea (2) - Texas, USA - MAY 22, 2013 does not count
Malty, fresh, and flavorful. Good hops on the finish balance this beer nicely.
I don’t understand the low ratings either. For an amber ale, it is excellent.
Ambers are usually kind of boring, but the Indi amber was so fresh &
Flavorful. I just loved it.

Had it on tap at the Friendly Spot in San Antonio, and poured a slim head and had a sour hop aroma. Has a bitter hop taste with a smooth finish.

Draft 4/14/10 (Opal Divine’s-Freehouse)-Pours a clear amber with no head. No Aroma. Tast of light malt and sweetness. This light bodied brew was decent and light and easy to drink.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 3fourths (6954) - Straßgiech, Bavaria, GERMANY - JAN 8, 2013
bottle from alumni association catering. filtered amber with a small off-white head and no retention. typical red apple and caramel malt flavor and aroma with some potato starch and mineral / eggy notes. medium light body with a syrupy malt extract flavor, mostly sweet, low bitterness, noticeable chalk / vitamin quality. very pedestrian as expected. at least it was free.
3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20 Beerenberger (794) - Fischer, Texas, USA - JAN 7, 2013
Aroma is sweet, roasty, malty, and a hint of fruitiness. Pours a dark clear amber with none lasting white head and on lacing. The taste has a burnt nuttiness quality combined with maltiness. Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, surprisingly, I liked this beer. It could have something to do with the beer prior to this one. Will sample again.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Crispy34 (157) - Texas, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Aroma is a mash of different malts and some sweet hops. The appearance is ok, burnt orange of course. The taste is very lack luster. Nothing really except a dry type flavor with some toasted malt at the end. The palate is weird. The aftertaste is of sweet malt. Overall, you would have to be a serious homer to buy this beer again and again.
