A dark, heady Imperial Oatmeal Stout, brewed with roasted barley and organic rolled oats for a rich, roasted flavor and smooth, creamy finish.

Roasted coffee notes pleasantly permeated my nostrils, accompanied by a lingering alcohol presence. Black with amber halo when held up to the light. Cream-colored head dissipates rapidly after the pour. Medium sweet taste that is accompanied by bitter notes. Pleasant medium body with an oily texture. 0% carbonation. Bitter sweet, well balanced finish. Not my favorite oatmeal stout, but pleasant nonetheless.

Tap at Houston beer fest. Coffee like pour with a big mocha head. Oat, coffee, roast, raisin. Light to medium body. A lot of minerals. Soft finish.

Roasted malt (Chocolate and coffee flavors), not burnt (Little acidic / bitter taste, almost non-existant) with a sweetness (Toasted Oats?) that didn’t overpower. No alcohol flavor. No hop flavors per say. Found at H-E-B - Tech Ridge Center in Austin Texas. Will have to see if I can find it in the DFW area.

Purchased at the flagship Whole Foods in Austin, TX; enjoyed while binge-watching House of Cards. Appearance is a moderately thick pitch black with a thin white rim. Aroma of light molasses, chocolate, light sweetness. Taste goes down with a light burn, rich chocolate notes, oats, light hops. Overall it's pretty good.

(Backlog) Dark, black in color, beige to tan colored head. The smell is oats, chocolate, coffee, malts, and roasty. The taste is the same with slight coconut.

This was a pretty decent oatmeal stout, but it lacks the smooth, slick character of the oatmeal that I wanted.
