Bottle that I brought back from Texas; poured a dull, darkish gold; not much head. Aroma was basically devoid of hops; smelled of butter and caramel. Flavor was similar, bizarre and a bit gross. I hope that I have an old/bad bottle, because this was really bad.

Jul 10, 2008 Bottle from slimchill. Thanks! Nose is faint malt. Flavor is slightly sweet, but mainly off. Started to taste notes of diacetyl as it warmed a bit. Think this may have been an infected batch. I hope so.

Jul 8, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey. Pours a hazy, medium amber with minimal off-white head but decent lacing. Nose is very light sweet malts. Taste is grass, caramel malt and light hops with a ESB-type bitter finish. Medium mouth feel. Thanks for bringing this back Bill!

Jun 28, 2008 Bottle. Pine aroma with some sweet malt. Dark golden body with good head. Sweet malt backbone took away the citrus flavor but a good tasteing pale ale. Sweet sticky candy malt lingers on the palate. Good brew.

Jun 24, 2008 Bottle. Clear pale yellow with a solid frothy white head. Very light hop nose and some caramel malt notes. Good bitterness up front with a solid malt backbone, fades out quickly leaving a slightly off-putting aftertaste of wet straw. The palate is fullbodied enough for the style with a good level of carbonation.
