3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: Pours a nice amber with a solid off white head. Wonderful retention and some nice lace.
S: Aromas of nice candy malts, bitter citrus, and a touch of pine.
T: Fairly hop forward, bitter grapefruit and dank grassy notes. Nice underlying sweetness to round things out, much better than people are giving it credit for.
M: Wonderful carbonation, smooth, with a nice hoppy bite.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Poured a a hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light hoppy citrus notes with bitter notes and some good caramel malt. Taste is also dominated by good citrus notes that are well balanced by plain bitter hoppy notes with a solid malt backbone that is well balanced and not too sweet. Nothing earth shattering but well brewed for the style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle served in shaker- poured a transparent darkened copper color with a very slight brown undertone, low carbonation, Texas size one finger plus white pillowy head formed, laced through the drinking, and laced nicely. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, and lemon. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt has just a touch of caramel to it- which is nice, hops come in the middle nicely, finish is acidic, somewhat lingering, and slightly drying. With what I like to call the beer arms race here in Austin alone (8 breweries and brewpubs, plus those in nearby towns, and counting!), I hope this brew puts them back on the map since itís very easy to get lost among the crowd here. Good job folks!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden orange in color... Aroma is citrus hops, slightly soapy... Flavor is soap mixed with citrus hops bitterness throughout... Not terribly malty, fairly dry considering itís not a west coast ipa... Not very good... Better than the amber, but still donít like this brewery

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a decent cheddar orange with an aroma of, I kid you not, peachy body odor. Mind you, in 9.9 out of 10 times this would be disgusting but this is that rare instance where itís easily overlooked but noted. Flavor is a nice, subtle mix of grapefruit, orange peel, and lemony pine. Average mouthfeel. With a bit of tweeking, this could be a very fine IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle. Nose is floral and pleasantly so -- it comes off very English style. Pours a slightly hazy gold with some head. Flavor is intensely hoppy, but still much more an English-style IPA than an American grapefruit bomb. Carbonation is subtle, gentle, and appropriate for the style. Good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
At Petrol Station. Pours cloudy peachy orange with small white head. A delicious concoction of hops without being overpowering. A great session ale and at 8% and the alcohol is almost entirely masked, so just two will bring big grins. Not the hoppiest IPA, but a great repeater.
