Stash IPA is defined by the hops. 7 additions of 4 different varietals, Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget and Cascade create a hop explosion that finishes clean. A dank, resinous and enlightening hop trip. It’s got mad hops.
Head Brewer Michael Waters: "The Stash is a reincarnated beast. It makes sense to go to the source, and IPA for me is defined by the West Coast. Three pounds of hops per barrel, 100 IBU, and a large dose of Columbus hops so the aroma matches the name."

Poured from bottle. Nose is floral and pleasantly so -- it comes off very English style. Pours a slightly hazy gold with some head. Flavor is intensely hoppy, but still much more an English-style IPA than an American grapefruit bomb. Carbonation is subtle, gentle, and appropriate for the style. Good beer.

At Petrol Station. Pours cloudy peachy orange with small white head. A delicious concoction of hops without being overpowering. A great session ale and at 8% and the alcohol is almost entirely masked, so just two will bring big grins. Not the hoppiest IPA, but a great repeater.

12oz bottle courtesy of stopbarking poured into a tulip. Pours a bright hazy golden orange with a big billowy white head that recedes to a thick cap and leaves good lacing. Very good looking IPA actually. The aroma is tame with some light lemony hops and some floral as well. There is light sweet malts as well but it’s all very subdued. The taste is more of the same and actually a little less impressive. There is some faint citrus hops and light sugary malts. There is a light metallic bitterness in the finish and a fairly surprising alcohol burn. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with good carbonation but the flavors seem watery. This is a fairly average IPA with the flavors coming across watered down. It’s not bad just not memorable in any way.

The beer pours a clear dark yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of piney and grassy hops. The flavor is pine hops as well as some citrus and some grainy notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a bad IPA, but nothing really stands out that makes me want to try it again.

Bottle thanks to mora2000. Pours with a large white head over a hazed golden body. Aroma of grapefruit, husk, garlic (?), and some soggy grains. Taste is citrus, pine and a bit of a sharp and astringent (tannin extracted) grain note. Lively carbonation. Dry finish.

Pours amber with an off white head. Smells of citrus, resiny, some caramel. Tastes of caramel, some citrus, some bitterness on the finish. Not assertive, but enjoyable.

Pour is hazed orangey amber with a thin dense off white head...smell is light, sweet, and fruity up front with a nice strong grapefruit and resiny character as well...taste is nicely hoppy but a bit quick with the hop flavor as it quickly turns nicely sweet with caramel...the hops certainly faded quickly...there is a bit of citrus in the slightly sweet and quick finish...I never would’ve guessed in a million years that this is 8%...no hint of booze whatsoever.

Bottle from hopper. A nice session ipa. Crisp without being over the top. An ipa for the light of heart.
