Stash IPA is defined by the hops. 7 additions of 4 different varietals, Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget and Cascade create a hop explosion that finishes clean. A dank, resinous and enlightening hop trip. It’s got mad hops.
Head Brewer Michael Waters: "The Stash is a reincarnated beast. It makes sense to go to the source, and IPA for me is defined by the West Coast. Three pounds of hops per barrel, 100 IBU, and a large dose of Columbus hops so the aroma matches the name."

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of blutt59. Pours a clear golden with a huge and lively white head with good retention. Odd herbal licorice aroma combined with some citrusy hops. Medium body, fairly solid and fruity malt bill, citrusy hops, again some licorice. The finish is not overly bitter. 080911

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours hazy light amber with a slight fizzy off-white head. Aroma of light stone fruit. Med minus body. Flavor is floral and light fruit. There’s a lot of it. There’s some caramel in the background. It’s crisp and pretty clean. It drinks well, and arguably should be classed as DIPA. Judgement call. If it’s "just" an IPA, it’s one of the better ones.

12 oz. bottle shared by Keir- thanks, Keir! Pours a clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma of pale malts, toast, wheat, faint honey, and some wet earth. Flavor was about the same. Not much hop character to this one. Light-bodied, malty, and dry, with moderate carbonation. So simple, not hoppy- and yet, this one worked for me for some reason. Maybe I just needed something plain after a long session of other intense beers. Nonetheless, I liked this.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2012 Bottle. Pours a near clear deep gold with a slight amber hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has notes of grapefruit and pine with a decent amount of light sweet grains. Flavor starts with pine but transforms in to a citrus/grapefruit and a bit of sweet grains. On tap at petrol station. Pours quite a hazy amber orange with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of citrus with some grapefruit and a bit of pine. Backed by a hint of sweet grain. Flavor is a combination of citrus and sweet grains backed by a bit of grapefruit.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with fast hading off-white head. Aroma of malt, earth and pine. Flavor is much the same with a pleasant bitter in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium body but somewhat watery with high carbonation. Overall I did enjoy.

Bottled. Poured hazy medium golden with a short, sticky whitish head. The aroma picked up honey and bready malts with wet earthy and lesser citrus accents.. smelled sugary, but alright. The flavor found fruity and bready sweetness at the core, with more bitterness than the nose suggested (grainy pine, grassy notes, and citrus led).. peppery and warmer on the finish.. not greatly interesting in any regard, but it was a decent drinker. Medium-bodied and grainy on the palate.. fairly bitter, but not always in a good way.. this was aiight.

3/20/11. 12oz bottle courtesy Cavie. I drank the whole thing. Eat me, Travis! Chunky, cloudy amber pour with plenty of yeast sediment and basically no head. Bitter, caramel aroma with spicy, earthy hops and some dirty dishrag. Similar flavor with a dry bite, a hint of astringent vodka flavor, and a dash of butter. Nasty.

12oz bottle thanks to Colby as an extra, drank in my Orval glass...Pours a not entirely appealing dark honey gold that is very light on the sides but super dark in the middle. An off white head that rises about a finger and half but looks whimpy, as if its going to fall quickly. It falls to half a finger fast but shows off some nice lacing...A light aroma, malty start of bread and pineapples, but a little generic in both departments. The hops show through on the back reminding me of a really light pale ale. Light wet grass hops that are sweet and have a hint of alcohol...Taste is a slight improvement over the aroma, bready pineapples to start followed by a boring light grass hop. Doesn’t taste bad by any means just boring, wish the hops showed off more. An easy to drink pale ale that doesn’t have a ton of flavor or anything with it. A decent session beer or one to start the night with, but don’t trade for it.
