Stash IPA is defined by the hops. 7 additions of 4 different varietals, Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget and Cascade create a hop explosion that finishes clean. A dank, resinous and enlightening hop trip. It’s got mad hops.
Head Brewer Michael Waters: "The Stash is a reincarnated beast. It makes sense to go to the source, and IPA for me is defined by the West Coast. Three pounds of hops per barrel, 100 IBU, and a large dose of Columbus hops so the aroma matches the name."

Balanced ipa. A little sweet and could be a little more bitter for me. From Austin Tx and drank in college station tx for the first time.

Cloudy amber with a soapy off-white head. Aroma of pastries (yes, like a Danish), raisins, citrus, caramel, and resin. Taste is heavily fruity and malty sweet with a somewhat subdued bitterness. Medium bodied and a bit dry. Decent beer, but not a very good IPA.

Pours hazy golden orange with a white head and a ton of lacing. Aroma is a sweet citrus and floral. Taste is pine and citrus with some sweetness to balance out a really nice bitterness. Very good.

Pale pour, small white head that held for a bit. Slight bread smell that is passed by hops...pine cone resin, slight flower perfume, hint citrus. Balanced, but dominant, hop bitterness through the middle. Surprisingly light on it’s feet, nice medium body. Good IPA.

I keep trying find something like Pliney the Elder, which isn't available in Texas. This comes close. It's a bit too bitter and lacks that big grapefruit nose I remember. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
