COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stash IPA is defined by the hops. 7 additions of 4 different varietals, Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget and Cascade create a hop explosion that finishes clean. A dank, resinous and enlightening hop trip. It’s got mad hops.
Head Brewer Michael Waters: "The Stash is a reincarnated beast. It makes sense to go to the source, and IPA for me is defined by the West Coast. Three pounds of hops per barrel, 100 IBU, and a large dose of Columbus hops so the aroma matches the name."

3/20/11. 12oz bottle courtesy Cavie. I drank the whole thing. Eat me, Travis! Chunky, cloudy amber pour with plenty of yeast sediment and basically no head. Bitter, caramel aroma with spicy, earthy hops and some dirty dishrag. Similar flavor with a dry bite, a hint of astringent vodka flavor, and a dash of butter. Nasty.

12oz bottle thanks to Colby as an extra, drank in my Orval glass...Pours a not entirely appealing dark honey gold that is very light on the sides but super dark in the middle. An off white head that rises about a finger and half but looks whimpy, as if its going to fall quickly. It falls to half a finger fast but shows off some nice lacing...A light aroma, malty start of bread and pineapples, but a little generic in both departments. The hops show through on the back reminding me of a really light pale ale. Light wet grass hops that are sweet and have a hint of alcohol...Taste is a slight improvement over the aroma, bready pineapples to start followed by a boring light grass hop. Doesn’t taste bad by any means just boring, wish the hops showed off more. An easy to drink pale ale that doesn’t have a ton of flavor or anything with it. A decent session beer or one to start the night with, but don’t trade for it.

12 oz bottle. Pours a darkish orange/amber, slightly hazy, with a foamy off-white head that sticks for a good while before leaving some nice lacing. It has a nice sweet, but hoppy scent, my nose is kind of stuffed so i am pissed that i cant fully smell this one. The taste is smooth an sweet. The malts mix nicely with the hops which have a slightly tropical vibe. Not an in your face ipa but a solid one. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 08-12-2010 04:07:50

Bottle from Whip In. Murky ass pour that is colored a dark orange to brownish color. Foamy white head. This smells amazing. Lots of sweet hops, floral in nature with some spice. Very fruity and very nice. Flavor is also very hoppy and fruity with a lightly dry finish. This is a very good IPA!

Bottle from Cavie. Orange pour with a white head. Aroma is a little bread, caramel, and fruit. Taste is floral, a little citrus, and a little caramel. Sticky aftertaste lingers a little long.

Bottle:   Milky amberish, sediment floats about, huge foamy off-white head, very nice lacing.   Pale hop nose, otherwise pixie stix like aroma.   Soft hoppiness up front, candish sweetness, soft backside.   Fairly smooth, not very bitter, sweeter than most.   This almost seems like a very sweet American Pale Ale.   I am getting some of that airy kool-aid or pixie stix type sweetness.   While not bad, it seems a little like an okay homebrew because of that artificial sweetness.   Body and mouthfeel are average.   Soft hop finish, sweet, candyish in that powdery sugar sorta way.   Tiz okay, but seems a little artificial.   Thanks Bill!

A Sim rate (one of the epic "Pool Table Tastings" in Rome, thanks to Alex): Aroma of sweet, orangey, flowery hops. Flavour that’s sharp initially, with a citric hop that balances out into a real bitter finish. Pretty good beer... and from my home state - yeehaw!

Bottle 12fl.oz. @ [ The Pool Tabel Tasting in Rome ].

Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, hop oil - resin. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101219]

12oz bottle from jtortorice, thanks Josh! Pours a cloudy, somewhat particulate filled, golden-orange colored body with a finger-width, foamy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a pretty nice lacing throughout. Aroma is a decent amount of bitter, almost sharp citrus pines. Grapefruits, lemons, and oranges mostly. Some medium sweet caramels that are a bit grainy with a hint of sugar. Flavor is similar, but a nice balancing caramel backing stands out more than the aroma. Still lots of bitter citrus rinds with a bit of a piney astringency to the hops. Some floral sweetness towards the back-end before this finishes malty smooth, but dries nicely thanks to a moderate bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium, smooth body and soft, moderate carbonation. Nice feeling beer. Overall, a solid IPA. Well hopped and fairly bitter, but nicely balanced and enjoyable. This was nice.
