COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stash IPA is defined by the hops. 7 additions of 4 different varietals, Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget and Cascade create a hop explosion that finishes clean. A dank, resinous and enlightening hop trip. It’s got mad hops.
Head Brewer Michael Waters: "The Stash is a reincarnated beast. It makes sense to go to the source, and IPA for me is defined by the West Coast. Three pounds of hops per barrel, 100 IBU, and a large dose of Columbus hops so the aroma matches the name."

Great hop nose. Initial moderate aromatic hop followed by bitter, but quickly disappears. Initially no malt, minimal as warms up

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Pours pale gold and hazy with a white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste is light citrus and pine; a bit resinous but very sessionable. Good.

Aroma: very sweet, reminding me of honey dew; Appearance; hazy golden straw with thin white head that dissipates fairly quickly; Taste: starts fruity and ends with strong yet non bitter hoppiness; Palate: medium body with long, mildly bitter finish; Overall: very decent IPA; better than expected.

Golden to copper pour , off white 0ne finger head. Giant hops taste up front and a slightly sweet finish. Great depth of hop flavor.

Clear golden yellow with an ample white head. Apricot, light pine, hay and grains. Very resinous bitterness, lingering malt backbone. Very oily, coats the palate heavily. Medium body with a bit of effervescence. Lingering aftertaste. Fine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at craft pride in Austin. Moderate low citrus and faint pine. Clear deep yellow with full white head that retains. Taste is moderate juicy citrus. Moderate bitterness leads to a quick finish.

Austin, Tx - on tap at Independence Brewing Tap Room. Slight haze to the medium golden pour, slight off-white head with a nice web of lacing. Tangy aroma with some pineapple accents, hint of spearmint, nice. Solid full-bodied flavor with some pineapple fruitiness, solid citrus bite, some caramel sweetness. Mouthfeel has a solid thickness to it. Me like.

Nice IPA! Clear gold in color, thick eggshell head. Has a subtle earthy nuttiness to it throughout with a very smooth pined hop profile. Very easy to drink yet plenty of character.

Pours a murky light golden color with a light creamy head. Aromas of slight pineapple, caramel, pine, citrus. The malt covers much of the hop aromas. Flavors light pine, citrus, light caramel, light grass. Lightly sweet and medium bitter finish and medium dry. All around light ipa that lacks very much complexity.

Appearance: hazy pale gold with a short ivory head, good retention and well-defined lacing. (4/5) Aroma: tropical fruit, citrus, pale malt, dank, onion. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, high bitter. (7/10) Palate: medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry lingering bitter finish. (3/5) I was sort of expecting brighter hops for something so fresh. The aromas also don’t really seem to communicate the true bitterness of this thing - it doesn’t smell anywhere near as massively bitter as it ends up being on the tongue. The dankness (“stash”, geddit?) starts to come through a bit more as it warms, but so does the onion, so that’s a little bit of a double-edged sword. Ultimately, though, it’s an impressively easy drinking beast for 7% and 100IBU. (14/20)

Citrus ipa towards lemons. Pours a little cloudy with a nice long lasting pillowy white head. Taste is bitter forward. Some hop flavor lingers and they’re on the brighter side. Not much malt but it’s not so overwhelmingly bitter that it’s an issue. Good drinker, bit of a one note thing though.
