COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Stash IPA is defined by the hops. 7 additions of 4 different varietals, Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget and Cascade create a hop explosion that finishes clean. A dank, resinous and enlightening hop trip. It’s got mad hops.
Head Brewer Michael Waters: "The Stash is a reincarnated beast. It makes sense to go to the source, and IPA for me is defined by the West Coast. Three pounds of hops per barrel, 100 IBU, and a large dose of Columbus hops so the aroma matches the name."

Pours orange with a small white fizzy head. Smells hoppy, hints of citrus and lots flowers. Taste is bitter with some sweet notes underneath. Medium-bodied with slick texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Independence Brewing Stash IPA finishes with a resiny feel and very mild bitterness.

Tropical and citrus hop aroma. Tastes a bit sweet, but if this is 8% then that’s totally understandable. This beer has come a long way.

12 oz bottle. Pours white head with a nice orange body. Aroma of banana and citrus followed by a creamy hop taste with a nice punch of sweetness before the resinated aftertaste. Great local beer for other people from the Austin area. Great beer in general. Compare this to a Pedernales classic.

Delicious intersection of hoppy, cinnamon and chocolate taste. A must if you love IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Whip In. Murky ass pour that is colored a dark orange to brownish color. Foamy white head. This smells amazing. Lots of sweet hops, floral in nature with some spice. Very fruity and very nice. Flavor is also very hoppy and fruity with a lightly dry finish. This is a very good IPA!

Really good nutty smell and taste. True IPA taste, from what little I know. Not one to try first, due to the bitterness, but that’s a preference to me.

The right amount of refreshment on a cool fall day. Copper colored, opaque, with a heavy off-white head. Light and airy nose. The flavor lends a mineral quality to the hops. This one must have started with good water because its good all around. It has the taste and pleasant quality of a traditional IPA. Quick, bitter finish. Leaves you feeling better than you did before.

I keep trying find something like Pliney the Elder, which isn't available in Texas. This comes close. It's a bit too bitter and lacks that big grapefruit nose I remember. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is a solid IPA. Very hoppy up front and rounds out towards the finish. Should satisfy any hophead. Aroma is excellent. Plenty of citrus and fruit after the initial bite.

12oz bottle: Appearance is a cloudy light brown with slow fading off white head. Aroma is of piney hops. Taste is an impressively balanced hop and malt combo. Initially filled with some pine like hops, then balanced with a fair amount of barley.
