COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

0.5l bottle. This is a light brown quite cloudy looking one and it has a short lived bubbly dark beige top. The nose is giving me a nice dark sweet chocolate/cocoa thingy, a little bit or earth and that’s about it. Really one dimensional but quite pleasant I have to say. The mouthfeel in this one is light and almost a bit gliding while the carbonation level is on the lower scale of average. The taste is not as pleasant as the aroma and it’s giving me a good amount of cardboard and dry mineral water. In between this there are also some nice sweetness and chocolate tones. Old still cold and bitter coffee before its leaving the mouth slightly dry with a roasted malty ashtray tail. If not for that anoying cardboard this was actually a nice little surprise from Inderøy. 26.12.2013

Bottle from Meny Oslo City enjoyed at home
A slow gusher. Pours dark brown with a massive tanned head with some big ugly bubbles. Smells of roasted malts, hints of coffee, nuts, soil and yeast esters. Moderate sweet, quite fruity, nice roasty malts and a touch of tar and coffee. Moderate bitter, earthy hops

Bottled, from Kjeller 5, Tromsö. Dark brown, lively mildly gushing head. Aroma of cocoa and coffee. Dryish with light-medium body and crisp mouthfeel. Tobacco and coffee. Salty bitterish finish. The best yet I’ve had from this brewer.

Bottle at the courtesy of Rune. Medium high creamy and good looking lasting off-white head. Well, it is indeed black. Dusty, pretty weak, herbal hay roasted malt aroma. Pretty strong hops bitterness with a sour note, caramel and a nice liquorice touch. Low carbonation. Long finish.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 06.06.2013, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Big fizzy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral and watery, dark malts, hay, grass, burnt caramel, toast. Taste is very fizzy watery, harsh and metallic, ashes, grass, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, well carbonated. What’s the point in making this crap?!?

500 ml bottle sampled in 2008. Dark amber body with a fine, big, beige head. Nice and delicate aroma of mild roasted malt, coffee and some smoke. Flavor is sweet, moderate roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and hint of dark fruit. Medium body and decent aftertaste. No strong flavors here, the strength is the balance, a really well made English inspired porter at a low ABV. One of the best Inderøy beers so far.
