3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ElDesmadre (934) - Mikołów, POLAND - APR 23, 2013
Bottle, traded with Cunningham. Nice, rocky head on this one. Aroma of honey, apples and peaches, with some malty notes. Light tart, light sweet aroma. Rather full body with a strong, grapefruity bitterness. Fruity, light spicy flavour. It’s ok though I’m not sure it came out as the brewer intended.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 Albertsen (33) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 17, 2013
The first that hits me is the smell.. a nice tone of citrus and bitterness comes too me. The foam is last lasting and pretty white. The color is a little dark for a IPA. The taste starts of as very strong. a strong beautiful sweetsness empowers me. the ending is very mild, and it stops a bot too abrupt, alltough the sweetness is there until the end.

Bottle from Cunningham, many thanks. Hazy orange colored beer with persistent thick off-white head. Aroma of honey, caramel, fruits, hints of pines. Strong hoppy taste with caramel, some fruitiness. dry hoppy finish. Tasty.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 esp0r (1258) - NORWAY - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle from Meny Oslo City enjoyed at home
Dark copper hazy, beige head. Smells of dark fruits, plums, smokey yeast esters and malts, some spicy hops. Moderate sweet, yeast flavors of the not so fruity kind, dry mouthfeel without the beer being dry. Moderate bitter, some hints of resins. A quite ok beer, not at all typical for an IPA; but i like it
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cunningham (2972) - Halden, NORWAY - NOV 18, 2012
Lovely amber colour with a big off white head that last and leaves a fine lacing. Caramel malt and grape hoppy aroma. Creamy texture and a medium to full body. Moderate sweet with a rich bitterness. Soft carbonation. Grape hoppy flavour with a solid caramel malt background. [Bottle from Varnaveien Mineralvann in Moss, Norway]

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - SEP 26, 2011
Dry old firewood aroma, dry leaves and a little cinnamon. Sunset orange brown. Tastes old, dusty, chalky. More like an earthy malt driven ESB. Still liked this beer, but not as an IPA.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 daje (1289) - NORWAY - JUL 8, 2011
Bottle at Lompa.
Amber body with a small white head. Light hop aroma, grapefruit, grass, hay, and caramel. Taste of toffee, bread and grass, not exactly what as expected. Floral aftertaste when the bitter end cuts off though, makes a good end.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tfredvik (630) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 2, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2011 Medium amber, hazy body with a huge, off-white, fully lasting head. Excellent lacing. The aroma is quite faint for an IPA, it’s light hoppy with citric notes, some fruits and a bit more yeast that I care for. Also a faint metallic whiff. The taste is stingy bitter with some acidity, no sweetness. It’s hard to detect any flavours at all, but I get some biting resinous notes along with faint citrus. Medium to light body, dry texture, lively carbonation. Ok beer, but there is something about that violent bitterness that I don’t like that much, and the aroma and flavours are far too faint.
[50 cl bottle, from Fenaknoken (what a lovely store!), Oslo]
