Bottled. What a beutiful label with a picture of Røra togstasjon - that trainstation in English. The beer is deep red and has a thin tan head when poured. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of burnt plastic and some malt, leading to a dry finish, where the burnt note lingers.

Very dark brown, almost black, with a nice light brown head. Smells like a stout ;) Lots of coffee, roasted malt and smoke in the aroma. Soft and round feel, not much carbonization (a pleasant amount to my taste). A bit "thin". Delicious together with dark chocolate.

Flaske 0,5l på Olympen, Oslo 17 Feb 10. Svart. Et OK luftig skum. Aroma med litt røyk. Litt metallisk. Smaken er anonym - men god. Litt kjedelig. Tørr ettersmak.

500ml bottle, unfiltered and unpasteurised, brygg 924, bb. Oct. 2010. Bought at Fenaknoken in Oslo. A Norwegian stout that poured a deep, dark-brown body, topped by a collapsing, beige head. Smell of earthy dark malts. Roasted malts to the taste buds joined by bitter, dark fruits. Bittersweet aftertaste. Easy to drink and a bit thin for a stout (late at night on my hotel room 19.08.2009).

Pours dark brown, a good, lasting beige head. Aroma is fairly fruity and hoppy, faint whiff of berries, roasted malts, and something quite sweet, like fruity vanilla milk chocolate. Flavour lets it down massively. Mostly roasted notes, coffee, a bit harshly metallic, dry fruity hops with a burnt and dry finish. Carbonation is too harsh. Body is medium to light, and it’s a bit watery. Not a bad stout, but nothing amazing.
