Bottled. What a beutiful label with a picture of Røra togstasjon - that trainstation in English. The beer is deep red and has a thin tan head when poured. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of burnt plastic and some malt, leading to a dry finish, where the burnt note lingers.

Bottle, from a trade with Cunningham. Rather dark amber/brown beer with a quote nice beige head. Roasted chocolate and cocoa aroma, fruity, figs, metal and vanilla notes. Chocolate flavor, cocoa and some fruits. Very, very watery and thin, more like a dark lager than a stout. Chocolate finish.

Bottle. (#817) The beer pours a very dark brown body under a nice but rather quickly diminishing beige head. Burnt, bonfire-sourish aroma with a touch of dried fruits. Would like the aroma to be more pronounced, it was a bit anonymous. Medium body, quite dry in the mouth, with flavors of roasted malt and some bitterness. Touch of coffee too. Lasting burnt finish. A decent beer, but far from outstanding. (080708)

500ml bottle, unfiltered and unpasteurised, brygg 924, bb. Oct. 2010. Bought at Fenaknoken in Oslo. A Norwegian stout that poured a deep, dark-brown body, topped by a collapsing, beige head. Smell of earthy dark malts. Roasted malts to the taste buds joined by bitter, dark fruits. Bittersweet aftertaste. Easy to drink and a bit thin for a stout (late at night on my hotel room 19.08.2009).
