Bottle. A lighlty unclear brown beer with an off-white head. The aroma is roasted and malty, with a bready touch and some hoppy scents. It’s a bit thin on the palate I think, it’s dry and nicely carbonated. Roasted malts, coffee and bread in the flavor, with an appropriate level of carbonation. Some caramel kicks in towards the very end. Mostly roasted finish though. Overall, nothing extraordinary going on here, but it’s a solid and tasteful beer. Needs more body I think, but at least it slides down very easy. 140621

Bottle from Meny Oslo City enjoyed at home
Pours dark brown with a big brown head. Smells of fruity dark malts, hints of dried fruits, some nuts, hints of toast and caramel. Light sweet, some yeast and malt fruityness, nuts, quite dry mouthfeel, moderate bitter. An ok beer. Brown ales ar not my favorite style, but as a brown ale it delivers quite well!

Svakt syrlig ettersmak. En god brownale.
