3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Svakt syrlig ettersmak. En god brownale.

Deep amber with off white head - Nice malt aroma with some nice hops as well - Some roasted malt notes in the body with some weak hop in the back - thin and a little bit weak in the finish - this was ok

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle sample @ Bryggerifestivalen i Trøndelag. Dark brown body, small white head. Nose is grains, brown malts, hints of nuts. OK, but far too faint. 4
Taste is brown malts, grains and hints of nuts; also a bit wishy-washy and faint. Light body and an overtly fizzy carbonation. Almost half-decent, but...not really.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
0,5 l bottle kindly provided by a beer label collector. He got it at the brewery. Clear and sparkling deep ruby-mahogany colored body with a fingerthick frothy cappucino head. Toasted tobacco, leather, molasses and light coffee on the nose. Medium bodied and plentyfully carbonated. Mellow flavors of toasted caramel, light acidic tobacco. Good drinnkability.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 06.06.2013, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Big creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly roasted, dark malts, hay, herbs, caramel, chocolate, nuts, puffed rice. Taste is watery and metalic, dark malts, grass, hay, dark fruits. Almost no bitterness. Down the drain it goes...

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Glowing brown. Properly balanced maltiness, just the right amount of bitter and aromatic hops. Grain, grass and pleasant carbonation. Harmonious, elegant.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle bought at Meny Oslo City, shared with Finn back home. Deep dark brown body covered by an off-white head that stays well. Grainy chocolate nose. Taste of chocolate malts, quite nicely balanced by a semi-tart touch that lingers for a while. Smooth in the mouth. Decent brown ale. My rating no. 600 of a Norwegian beer (Tromsø, 13.02.2013).

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body with strong
carbonation. Earthy caramelly roasted sugar aroma with spicy pea
notes. Dry-sweetish earthy roasty caramelly taste with dry cocoa
notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish roasted sugar
and caramel aftertaste with spicy dusty earthy notes. Really
nice and highly distinctive, although very similar to the
rakfiskøl. (0.5l bottle, Meny Oslo City.)
