COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500 ml bottle sampled in 2009. Slightly hazy, dark golden body with big creamy off-white head. Quite strong aroma of malt and yeast. Flavor is sweet malt, toast, some fruit and grassy hops. Medium body and medium lasting aftertaste. Decent and a bit original, still not the best balance.

0,5 l bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Slow gush from the bottle top. Clear orange body with a large beige head. Wood herbs vegetables and notes of light dried fruits on the nose. Bitter aromatic and with some malts present.. Medium body. Overcarbonated and a prickling tongue. Long gentle hoppy finish.

Palme (2234) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2011
0.5l bottle from Fenaknoken, Oslo. This English style pale ale has a dark unclear copper colored body with a nice medium off-white head. Aroma is light fruity and malty with notes of peaches and some fruity hops. Lively carbonation, medium to light-bodied and it has a light oily mouthfeeling. Tastes quite malty with a really nice, yet surprisingly, licorice flavor in the end. Hints of fruits and some yeast. Ends light watery with a mild little bitterness. Yeah, this was really a nice little surprise.

ClubGonzo (2695) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 15, 2011
Bottle from Vaaland Spesialbutikken, Bryne. Body is slightly hazy orange, with a big, cloudy white head. Nose is grass, hay and wet leaves. Taste is floral grassy notes with some sweet malts. A bit bland. Inderøy Soddøl is a nice enough farmstead/traditional Norwegian home brew, but not really exciting at all.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a fast disappering orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt combined with lighter notes of burnt plastic = flaw. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of burnt plastic and smoke, leading to a dry smoked finish.

Bottle (50cl) from Fenaknoken, Oslo. BB Dec 2010 (batch 945 - probably; the handwritten number is hard to read). Two-inch offwhite head, reducing to a permanent film. Slightly hazy copper colour. Aroma of caramel, pine, yeast and somewhat fruity hops. Medium-bodied, mild mouthfeel. Good balance. Fruity bitterness in the finish, which is watery. Quite drinkable.

07.03.2010, 0,5l Bottle. Brew number 928. Thanks to Sven R. L! Golden orange colour with a tall white head. Aroma is malty with nice bitterness. The bitterhops gives the beer a dry and tastefull aftertaste. Nice ale.

A Mes rate. Bottle at LCRBM #5.
Murky amber with a large frothy white head. Fruity malt, slightly sweet. Earthy finish. Slight infection if you ask me.

At LCRBM 2009, Kulminator, Antwerp (Belgium)
Lightly brown, rocky head. Very nice aroma of flowers, hops, malts ... it is subtle but has some complexity. Modeately bitte,r moderately sweet caramel flavour. Very complex and well balanced flavour imho. Seen the ABV, I think this is a very good beer.
