500 ml bottle @ Olympen. Black body with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, liquorices, dark malt and dry, red fruit. Flavor is mild and soft roasted malt, coffee, and bitter chocolate, balanced bitter. Fine body and more roasts in aftertaste. A nice and balanced stout.

Bottle, at Olympen. A very dark brown beer, topped by a tan to beige fingerthick head. Roasted malts, licorice, a touch of coffee and smoke, and a little alcohol too in the aroma. The flavor has licorice, roasted malts, a touch of caramel and hops, and it’s full-bodied and smooth on the palate. A nice one indeed, definitely one of the best from Inderøy so far. 111015

500 ml bottle, at Olympen, Oslo. ABV 6.4%. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Surprisingly moderate aroma, some roasty notes, hints of coffee and liquorice. The flavour is definitely roasty with notes of coffee, fairly dry. Smooth and pleasant to drink, will buy again. Inderøy’s best beer so far.

larsga (4684) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 31, 2011
Medium brown head. Opaque black body with deep dark red edges. Roasty milky chocolatey aroma with burnt notes. Dry-sweet roasty milky chocolate taste with caramelly grainy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny chocolate and soot aftertaste with burnt pine needles and grain notes. Nice, drinkable, has real character, and finally no ash. (0.5l bottle, Olympen, Oslo.)

Palme (1449) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 18, 2011
0.5l bottle @ Olympen, Oslo. Pours a near black body with a big chocolate head. Aroma is roasted malts, some licorice and a light sweetness. Perhaps some coffee as well. Average so soft carbonation, kinda watery texture actually and the whole thing is medium-bodied. Tastes light sweet and lots of roasted malts. Also some strong caramel notes in the finish along side with some dark fruit. Really decent stout!
