rkuhnel (1144), Eureka, California, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle courtesy of bhensonb. Thanks Bill. Poured a red copper with small white head and light lacing. Nose of light citrus and flowers. Mouthfeel light. Flavor is lightly bitter. Not much bitterness in the finish . I like my IPAs to be a little more lively but this was certainly drinkable. Amber, mildly hoppy aroma and flavor. Nice, a very middle of the road IPA. jake65 (1274), Meridian, Idaho, USA Sep 17, 2008 Bottle: Amber pour with a modest sandy head. More malt comes through than hops. Sweet, yet not any real citrus or fruitiness. Mostly a bit of malt with light florals and caramel malt. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 16, 2008 Bottle: Pours an earthy amber color with light head and lacing. The nose is faint and malty, thin though. the flavor is herbal with some pine and grass along with a chewy caramel malt tail Balanced finish. More like a malty pale ale or hoppy amber ale. mjg74 (1803), La Mesa, California, USA Sep 9, 2008 Updated: Sep 27, 2008Bottle from Whole Foods. Deep amber in color on the pour. Really earthy/mineraly aroma. Dry and peppery. Somewhat hoppy, but this beer seems to be dominated by sweet maltiness and a sort of mineral taste. Very funky tasting.
