1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 3/20 OKplus (558) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 23, 2013
A - Slightly hazed amber with an off-white head that leaves descent lacing.
S - Sugary toffee malt, some buttery diacetyl, leafy, butterscotch
T - Medicinal-like herbal hops, toffee underneath, some band-aid and buttery flavors mixing around. Some light unkown fruitiness. The rough medicinal-herb flavor grows stronger as it warms and gets pretty distracting.
M - Good carbonation, light to medium body.
Good looking and average mouthfeel but there’s something not right about this beer.

Corn nuts and peppery floral hops. Hazy golden thin foam. Flavors of corn nuts soap metal and d battery. Wow. Thin tangy metal mouthfeel. Bad.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 3/20 Eighty6 (5) - Arizona, USA - JAN 28, 2013 does not count
This beer gets a lot of bad reviews from Hop addicts as currently labeled. Change the name to suite a Session IPA and ratings might go up. As is, Amnesia does make it forgettable.
I might buy again as a Summertime IPA.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Nekronos (3231) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 28, 2012
NIce and easy to drink. NOt much bitter but still an I.P.A. American style.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thooper41 (539) - Oregon, USA - SEP 27, 2012
12 oz bottle: Appearance is an amber brown with slow fading off white head. Aroma is nearly nonexistant. Taste is slightly hoppy but fairly mellow with hints of caramel in the malt. Solid pale ale.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 batneil (131) - - SEP 14, 2012
I had this labelled as Ballistic Brewing Co Gargoyle IPA. It seemed overcarbonated which gave it a bit of a harsh texture. The flavour wasn’t as pronounced as most IPAs I’ve tried.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 dnstone (2000) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 11, 2012
Label say Gargoyle IPA by Ballistic brewing. Copper in color with soap-sudsy white head. Lightly bready aroma, slight fruit character. Watery, bready flavor with some floral hops around the edges. Some alcohol in the finish. I can feel myself getting hung over from this beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SDalkoholic (1812) - Chula Vista, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Bottle from Fresh and Easy: Slight scent of citrus perhaps orange peel and chance of honey, but smells cheap compared to most other IPA’s on the market. Color is a light golden honey liquid topped with a firm layer of soapy head that breaks down in less than a few minutes. The flavor taste of ground up flowers and water with a notice of spices, but in general, this was an awful attempt at an IPA. Just quit now since most of you’re guys recipes are weaksauce.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sammer (907) - Plano, Texas, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Decent, but not special IPA. Taste is mild hops and wheat. Lacks any sort of punch.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bb (5974) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Bottle. Ballistic Gargoyle IPA. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light malt aroma. Grapefruit and light pine flavor with light malt. Body is a little lighter. OK bitterness. Grapefruit and light pine lingers with light malt.
