2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: AUG 17, 2012 Are we sure this is the same as Ballistic? I found the Ballistic IPA undrinkable and have halved my score to be in the middle. Very dirty tap water flavor.
Original 3.5 This was a decent enough brew, it just never really struck me as an IPA, especially one from California. The aroma isn’t strong of floral or citrus, and the flavor isn’t overly bitter. A bit malty almost. Pretty good. Interestingly, the six-pack says Amnesia IPA but the bottle says Ameni.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
12oz bottle thanks to largadeer. Pours medium amber with a small white head. Doesn’t look terrible. Floral hop aroma and...AH INDIAN WELLS!!! Some serious weird stuff going on. Some bad earthiness to it. The flavor is really rancid. Sickening even. I can’t even say why it is, but it’s dirty tasting and vegetal. The palate is thin and astringent. Just not good, and didn’t sit well in my stomach. One of the worst IPAs I’ve had. I hope I get amnesia and forget this experience.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Watery pour, ok smell. Dry taste with a light hop taste. Some sweet notes in it, a bit bland yet interesting and quite drinkable.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle purchased in NV: Tenuous texture and carbonation. Flavor is a little thin and weak as well. Some hints of caramel and sugar water. Not necessarily bad flavors, they’re just too light and unexciting. Mild bitterness. Aromas lack depth and charisma. Ironically, this one’s easy to forget.

NIce and easy to drink. NOt much bitter but still an I.P.A. American style.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle; poured a dark amber color; not much head. Aroma of caramel, earth, fruit; not too strong. Flavor was very malty; overpowering the hops. Alot of fruit and caramel, but not very pleasant. Really a miss on this one.

Thanks to my friend Ray for sharing.
Amber, mildly hoppy aroma and flavor. Nice, a very middle of the road IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of bhensonb. Thanks Bill. Poured a red copper with small white head and light lacing. Nose of light citrus and flowers. Mouthfeel light. Flavor is lightly bitter. Not much bitterness in the finish . I like my IPA’s to be a little more lively but this was certainly drinkable.
