Appearance: Pours an auburn gold with no head. The body is very clear. Within the clarity, you see very few rising bubbles. Aroma: Pumpkin pie air freshener, real pumpkin pulp Taste: A huge mouthful of nutmeg and cinnamon, followed by slight pumpkin meat, and sparkling mineral water. Mouthfeel: Super thin and fizzy. Overall: I give this beer credit for creativity, but unfortunately, ranks low on my list of pumpkin beers. I’m not a huge fan of the style, but after having Southern Tier Pumpking and The Bruery Autumn Maple, I am a believer in the possibility of a good one.

Pours a light orange color with a very small white head. Aromas are punpkin pie and spices. The beer tastes very thin and dry with a good amount of spices and pumpkin taste. It tastes like more of a lager than an ale. Its not bad and I could drink a couple but its nothing special.

Purchased at Total Wine on my trip to Vegas. Pours a golden-orange colour with an off-white head and decent lace. Fresh pumpkin purée smell with biscuit malts and nice soft spices. Thin mouthfeel and the taste is pretty much the same as pumpkin filling for pies. Definitely the closest thing to fresh pumpkin spiced purée I had in a pumpkin brew.

12oz bottle pours clear copper / gold with weak 30 second near white head. The aroma is big with winter time spices, pumpkin, graham cracker and an out of place sense of lime. The taste is similar starting with fairly bold winter spices and then quickly picking up pear like sweet fruity esteriness before the pumpkin notes join in the fray. This is an interesting brew that slides in and then out of cohesion as it meanders its way into the finish.

Lots of spice and that’s about it. I don’t taste any pumpkin in it at all. Very malty as well.

Copper pour, white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie spice and ginger ale. Flavor is much the same. Pretty standard and pretty damn boring.

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine - Pours a clear amber color with a half finger thick off white head. Flavor and aroma is pumpkin and spice. Light to medium body. Another ho hum Pumpkin beer.

A: The pour is an excessively carbonated pale amber/orange color with a fizzy off-white head. S: The nose isn’t anywhere near as offensive as I was lead to expect. Like a mix of really old sugar and cinnamon with some of those butter cookies (extra butter). Maybe a bit of body odor too. T: A delectable blend of carbon dioxide, soda water, table sugar, and cardboard. A soup of champions. Certainly some butter begins to make its way into the flavor profile as well. Truly delicious. M: The body is light and watery with far too much carbonation. D: As bad as I made this beer sound, it wasn’t completely horrible. We certainly had way worse beers on this evening.

Sampled in a 12 oz bottle. One of the better pumpkin ales but Shipyard takes the cake. Needed a bit more spice and a better palate.

(12oz bottle, courtesy of ericandersnavy) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of nutmeg, allspice, spoiled vegetal, and pumpkin. Flavor of pumpkin, caramel, and odd spices. Not good…
