Smells like berries. Pours cloudy orange with ok lacing and head. The berry and the smoke works ok. Some burnt astringency at the end. Texture is a little cloying. It tastes more burnt than smokey. On tap at Bar Hop.

Red amber pour . Nice smoke nose and raspberry. Flavour is similar. Neither overpowers. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Bar Hop. Rose coloured with delicate white head. Nice web of lacing. Delicate carbonation. Aroma of woodsmoke, peat, raspberry jam, black cherry. Soft medium mouthfeel. Mildly sour throughout with a long finish. I found this mild for the style, but enough going on to make it flavorful.

Weird. Charcoal and smoke at the start, medium body and full on raspberries but not very sweet. It takes several sips to get the full flavours in this one. Not my usual style but would likely be a great summer beer to drink a few of.

2013-05-10. Lightly hazy dark amber, nice creamy beige head. 3++ Flavour is more berry than smoke, lightly tart berry, juicy notes. Light smokey undertones in the finish? Fruity aroma, berry, very light musty smoke. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation suits it nicely. Sampled on tap at Bar Hop, Toronto

Nose is very fruity with a lot of raspberry and light spice. A touch of light smoke and a touch of tartness. Fresh and a little bit spicy. Kind I astringent towards the finish. Lightly phenolic.

Cloudy coppery amber with a smallish but lasting beige creamy head. Light woodsmoke and raspberry seed aroma with a mild bit of alcohol. Tate follows, more smoke, light peat, herbal seedy bitterness, with emerging acidic fruit character eventually and amazingly overpowering the smoke. Average body, quite astringent, long dry bitter linger. Something different and quite good.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a murky amber-red with an average size long lasting creamy off-white head. Lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of berries, light smoke, wheat and light hops in the back. Pleasant fruity flavour, lightly tart, along with light smoke, wheat, grain and mild bitter finish. Average bodied. Pleasant on a warm summer day, I liked it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A hazed rosey amber with a thin off white head. In aroma, raspberry pulp with light alcohol warmth. In mouth, a smooth raspberry with light peaty notes, well made.
