3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
2012-09-27. Murky dark orange body, essentially headless. 3+ Fairly bitter, dominant flavour is an herbal/herbaceous green hop character, that comes out in the aroma as well. It almost has a spruce or fir tree like quality to it. Mild base malt. Smooth average plus bodied palate, low carbonation is pretty good for a cask. Pretty decent, I suspect the overall profile might be a bit more to the style of an English ale if it had dropped clear more. As presented it is very hop dominant. Enjoyable.
