[5044K-20130102] Tap. Cinnamon gingerbread aroma. Brown black body with a long-lasting creamy light tan head. More gingerbread spices and roasted bitter malt flavour. Full body. Delicious, nicely balanced. (8/4+/8/4/16) 4.0

2012-01-02. Very dark brown body with a nice tan head. 4+ Aroma is quite spicey, with tons of cinnamon and muted dark malt. 7++ Flavour is similar with a nice malty core, and a good amount of spice that is is cinnamon dominant. 7+ Smooth average plus palate. 3+ Nice stuff, bit stronger on the spice than my preference but pretty nice stuff regardless. Pours black with good lacing and head. Lots of gingerbread here. Cinnaon and ginger. A spicy porter that strays significantly from the party line. Dark malt comes out subtly after a few sips. Leave has very light sourness and sweetness. Tap at brewpub.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours a very dark amber-brown with a small semi-lasting frothy tan head. Nice aroma with lots of Xmas spices, toasted malt and notes of coffee and chocolate. Equally nice flavour of those aforementioned Xmas spices along with toasted malt, light coffee and some light sweetness. Medium bodied. The spice in this could be overwhelming for some but I love it, great stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep brown pour with a thick tan head. The aroma is spicy and a little bit cocoaish. Nutmeg, cinnamon and a little bit of cocoa. Fairly spicy but not astringent. Comes across like an eggnog flavoured milk chocolate bar. Pretty nice and definitely seasonal. Dryish malts on the finish which is always nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
