500 mL bottle. More pine than anything else, but all hops. Pineapple. Also, pineapple. Good stuff.

Tap at bar hop. Pours s murky Amber brown with a white head. Sweet aroma with orange caramel candy. Medium body, medium carbonation. Orange, pine, lemon, light soap, metal, grapefruit... OK, astringent metallic aftertaste isn't very pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This unique ale has an intense, golden yellow colour. There are lots of small flakes of floating sediment--quite pretty, like a snifter-glass-snow-globe. The head is thin but foamy as you’d expect from a high alcohol beer. The aroma is very strong, busting with floral and citrus hops, even at cold serving temperature. A sweet, dangerously smooth, and creamy up-front taste dominates, and a bit of dryness and hop-tartiness comes later. Think of this beer as delayed muscle soreness: you felt so good in the moment but ache the next day.

Big bouquet of spicy and piney hops. Taste is all pine with orange and grapefruit fighting for attention. A solid caramel malt backbone (and the 11 per cent alcohol!) make this a powerful beer, but the booze is well hidden. Well done, and I’m calling it a Triple IPA.

Bottle: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of soapy hops with floral citrus noes is pretty enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by soapy hops with nice floral undertones and light perfume notes with light residual sugar notes also noticeable. Body is full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I really enjoyed the soapy and hops perfume of this beer.

Smells great, spicy citrus hop, nice malt character with some onion in the background. Hazy golden color. Tastes great, super citrus and also fairly malty, but it works here. Alcohol nicely hidden. Upfront citrus, finishes with some pine and white pepper in the nose. Pretty great double IPA, if not complicated very well balanced. Medium bodied and avearge carbonation.

Bless your sweet little soul, Indie Ale House, as it feels like forever since I’ve had such an enjoyable hop bomb. Pours long legs & all with a frothy one finger cap. Taste is what I love & crave from a hop bomb: fresh squeezed citrus & sweet marmalade with just a slight backbone of malting. No throaty bitterness, just pure hoppy edge. Highly recommended if you are a true hop hound.

On tap at the brewery. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral and piney and resinous hops, some light notes of citrus, a good amount of pale and caramel malts, very light hints of alcohol, and some dough. Flavor the same with a very strong bitterness. Average texture. A pretty good imperial IPA but a little too bitter/ big for my liking.

Hazy amber pour with an almost white head that’s a little short but leaves nice lacing. Big nose full of candied citrus fruit, pineapple and spruce with enough maltiness behind it to balance out. Pretty sweet candied fruit on the front that leads into a healthy bitterness and long finish. Great stuff.

Draft - Caramel sweetness and orange, grapefruit hops. Hazy gold with a rich white head. Sweet candy floss hops and a rich caramel background. Light booze and a long finish.
