A golden amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, heavy caramel malt with resinous floral hops, witj light doughy character. In mouth, a classy DIPA with lods of biscuit malt, alcohol, balanced floral hops, mango and light dough notes.

Copper orange pour with a thin frothy lace. Pleasant citrus hop aroma with some rhubarb and custard thrown in. Fruity gummy hop flavour. Well balanced IPA. Very drinkable and very tasty.

Spectacular double IPA - huge hops I can still taste hours later. Aroma is strong but not unpleasant - mid body is quite full and rich but you never lose sight of the huge hop punch - citrus, passionfruit, and complex herbal spice bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub, Jan. 2. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a small semi-lasting creamy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Lovely aroma is fruity, juicy and oh so hoppy. Flavour is also really hoppy along with some citrus, tropical fruit, alcohol and a huge bitter finish -- not only hoppy bitter but raspberry seed biiter as well. Medium bodied. This is the hoppiest version of this beer I’ve had yet, and it’s almost a touch hard to drink, it’s so bitter -- but only almost, I still love it.

One of the best Ive had from brewery. Pours orange with great lacing. The latter seems to be the brewery’s trademark. Smells like tangerine. Tastes has heavy bitterness. Medium carbonation. On tap at brewpub.

2013-01-02. Crisp dark amber body, good sized tan head and lace. 4+ big hoppy aroma, melange of leafy green hops and citrus. Mild alcohol. 7++ Flavour is pretty hoppy, fruity with tropical fruit character. Pretty bitter throughout, lingers in the finish. 7++ Smooth medium to full bodied palate. 4+ Solid stuff. 7+/4+/7+/15-16 On tap at Indie Alehouse, Toronto

2012-11-17. Lightly hazy dark amber body, nice off-white head and lace. 3+ Fruity hoppy aroma, mild malt, modest citrus. 7+ Good amount of bitterness, modest citrus, malty support, dangerously drinkable. 7+ Average plus bodied palate. 3+ Bitternes grows, and the malt character gains complexity as it warms up. Less hop assertiveness and complexity than I recall from previous batches, but more dangerously drinkable as the alcohol profile is practically non-existent. 7/4/7/3/16+ On tap at Indie Alehouse, Toronto

January 2, 2013 - on draught at the brewpub. ** Please note, this is the non-JCVD version, just the "Cockpuncher" ** Clear light copper with a decent lasting creamy beige head with lacing. Aroma is resin, spruce and some not terribly sweet tropical fruit sweetish malt - mostly about the bitterness - very, very good! Taste follows, not quite as intense - but still pretty big, not boozy - reminded me of the very first TF Dreadnaught I ever had - conifer, resin and mango/pineapple, alcohol too - very good stuff. Perfect body, decent carbonation, longish bitter and back palate coating finish, not one to chug. Excellent beer.

Pale golden pour. Tight white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with a bit of tropical fruit but also some grassy dry hop aroma as well. A little bit of pepper and some sticky resinous hoppiness. Clean malts but they're there. Lingering bitterness. It's nice, but I can't say it wows me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewpub. Resiny aroma and flavours, nicely balanced, and slight bitter aftertaste. Not overly hopped, quite flavourful.
