2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught at ’Indie Alehouse Homebrewers Tap Takeover’. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small long-lasting frothy white head. Some lacing on the glass. Pleasant aroma is quite fruity along with some light sweet candy. The flavour on the other hand doesn’t work for me, it has an odd unpleasant flavour and is very bitter and harsh -- maybe it’s just me though. Average to medium bodied. Started well but ended bad.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Home brewer showcase at Indie Ale House, produced at Indie. Strange and not all that drinkable. Dark in a mysterious way, and lacy. 70 IBU but taste closer to cabbage.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013-09-17. Crisp yellow body with a nice white head that fades but leaves a nice white lace. 3+ Aroma of sweet bubblegum like character (menu says cotton candy?), muted fruit and grassy touches. Flavour starts relatively mild, pleasant bitterness, fruit, whisper of bubblegum fades. Much more bitter when I come back to it later. Average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. Decent, I enjoyed it but found it a bit strange around the edges. I suspect it might have benefited from a larger more focused glass.
