3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at ’Indie Alehouse Homebrewers Tap Takeover’. Pours a murky yellow with no head. Aroma is citrusy and a touch sweet -- kind of like grapefruit and vanilla. Nice flavour of citrus, more fruit, some bubblegum and grain -- simple but pleasant. Average bodied. I didn’t really get any cherries or berries but I quite liked it.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
(Draught at the brewpub, Sept 17 2013) Pours very hazy dark brownish gold. Aroma sour cherry-forward, with raspberry and a little blackberry, no real yeast character. Flavour strongly sweet-tart, raspberries at the start, powdery slightly funky yeast in the mid-palate, then sour cherry tartness towards the finish. Finish is quite grainy, fairly dry, lightly bitter, grisette character. Body fairly light, carbonation also light but sharp on the finish. Liked this one, a good grisette with nice extraction of berry flavours from all the fresh fruit additions. Refreshing. I wanted a bit more blackberry, but that could just be my palate.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Indie Ale House produced and showcase of home brewers. A winner in tart fruit. Nice melange of blackberry, cherry and raspberry. Mostly blackberry in taste and smell. Good tart fruit yet smooth, with grisette character in the finish. Pineapple juice appearance.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
2013-09-17. Hazy pastel yellow body with a tiny head that fades. Aroma is a bit of a pleasantly odd melange of fruit and grains, grapes meet tropical fruit. Flavour is zippy and refreshing, mild sourness throughout, pleasant fruity character. Light lemon and lemon peel, sweet white grape touches. Smooth average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. I like the fruity character but intriguingly didn’t really get any distinct notes of the berry or cherry fruit indicated in the description. Pretty nice, refreshingly quaffable. Very nice - quenching is a good descriptor. On tap at Indie Alehouse Homebrewers Tap Takeover event, Toronto Beer Week
