Tap at the brewpub. Light brown, tiny head. Quite a funky aroma, soft spicing from the rye, and some grass, with some lactic notes. A tad thin, and watery, soft carb. Finish is tart, with a lactic funkiness, with alot of tangy fruit, and subtle spices. Odd beer.

Interesting sour. Rating reconstructed from subpar iPhone notes. White grapes, lemon rind & a funky bacteria after bite. The rye gives it an interesting twang. My notes suggest making a pun about Lenin but I have no idea what I was on about. If only my sober self could understand my drunk self.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear amber with a frothy white head. Flavors are rye bread, peach, apple and lemon with earthy notes. Light sourness and tartness. Light body, moderate carbonation, thin texture. Odd beer.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2015 On tap at Indie Ale House. Served in a wee cute little glass. Not fond of the aroma at all. Smells like very sour dirty socks to me, soured grain maybe? Was reluctant to drink it. Tastes like sour rye, soured apples and grapes. Really not fond of this at all.

[5712-20130819] Tap. Suger-coated nut grain aroma. Hazy, brown orange body with a quick foamy white head. Sour nutty grains flavour has a toasted almond finish. Medium body. Really interesting to sample. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Sampled at the brewery. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of sour/tart notes with a light rye spicy note and hints of light fruits plus some pale malts/bread. Flavor the same with the sourness slightly weird, but still very balanced. Average texture. Maybe the organisms used were off or it didn’t have enough time, but a good beer that can be refined to be great.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy apple cider look. The aroma is apple cidery, sour apple with a yeasty pie like quality and some malty notes. It has a medium body, good balance between acidity and malts has a real lemon pie like tartness that makes this beer very drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a golden orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is tart fruit, mostly apple. Flavour has a sour, but not puckeringly so, apple and hints of cherry with a little toasty graininess. Mellow carbonation. Pleasant.
