Homebrewer’s Tap Takeover collaboration with Indie Alehouse Staff. The malt-bill of this beer was inspired by the humble Romanian chocolate and almond sponge cake: Nutty, chocolatey and soft, full biscuit notes throughout.

[5832-20130917] Cask. Light vanilla roast bean aroma. Black brown body with a long-lasting creamy tan head. Creamy milk chocolate roast malt flavour. Full body. Delicious and milky. (7/4/9/4/16) 4.0

Cask at ’Indie Alehouse Homebrewers Tap Takeover’. Pours a very dark brown with red hues, almost black, and no head. Dry, sweet aroma of roasted malt vanilla. Slightly watery malty flavour along with vanilla and almonds -- kind of meh. Average bodied. Just O.K.

Home brewer tap takeover, this was a cask brewed by several. Sweetish, almond and a little vanilla, yet not too sweet. Light brown. Low carbonation, and lighter mouthfeel. OK cask to have the one time. Tea, cocoa and spice cake aroma. Drinkable

2013-09-17. Black body nice tan head. 4+ Aroma is sweet with sort of a vanilla amaretto character. Flavour is similar, sweet malty base, strong vanilla character, light amaretto or almond like notes. Smooth average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation is a bit too light. Nice but a bit too much for me at this point. I think I might have appreciated more another time. On cask at Indie Alehouse Homebrewers Tap Takeover event, Toronto Beer Week
