Draft. Hazy gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of coriander, spicy Belgian yeast, and some tropical hop notes. The spiciness of the yeast, wheat, and peppery elements take charge over the hops in the flavor department, but there are enough bitterness and citric elements to keep things interesting. A solid offering.

Draft - Sweet Skunky notes and grass with a touch of lemon peel. Cloudy yellow with a decent white head. Sweet citrus, peel, herbs and a peel finish.

Tap at barhop. Big herbal notes, green tea, oolong, maybe some chamomile. Green, juicy hop cones, light grasses, solid lime zest. Medium bitterness, solid herbal notes in the end. Interesting.

On tap at Volo. Pours a lightly cloudy pale golden colour with moderate-sized white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, a little resin and lots of wheat. Flavour is big tropical fruit character, pine and solid wheaty character. Fairly bitter in the finish. Nice.

2013-01-31 - on draught at Bar Hop. Almost muddy deep yellow-orange with minimal frothy/foamy off-white head. Smells really like an IPA with weizen overtones - plenty of fruity yeast ... has IPA bitterness for sure, and appreciable alcohol - quite interesting. Taste has more citrus and resin bitterness, then fruity yeast is much further in the background, but there is banana ester there; a tad sweaty, and again you do notice the alcohol; weird blend - cold-weather IPA? Thick body, mildly carbonated, starts out fruity and malty and finishes bitter and astringent - I was intrigued, I would have this one again.

On tap at Bar Hop, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out some Belgian yeast, floral hops and biscuity notes. Flavour brings out a nice hybrid of bretty, funky Belgian yeast and floral hops. No residual sugars, rather really dry and drinkable. Great stuff.

(On tap at the brewpub, Mar 8 2014) Pours a hazy yellow with a dense, lacy white head. Aroma is quite bright citrus hops, grassy and herbal and slightly wheaty. Flavour again citrus rind and a little flesh, grass, some more wheat grain in the middle but no real malt sweetness. An herbal, slightly spicy hop finish with some grapefruit pith, quite dry, decent bitterness. Light and effervescent. The hop profile is a good match for the light wheat body and also provides much of the sweetness. Would be good on a hot day.

Pale yellow pour with a thick white head. The aroma has a lot of wheaty character and some light orange citrus. A nice wheaty flavor along with a lot of bitterness. Nice assertive bitterness with a bright orange and tropical fruit nose. Lovely

Session IPA. Pours cloudy blonde with good lacing, some head. Some hay-like hops and not much malt. Taste a little basic. Soft carbonation. Finish is better than nose, with some florals and sweet hops. Hops profile light and more on the white side than the IPA side.

On tap at bar hop. Very cloudy, not an entirely attractive brownish yellow. Thin white head. Aroma is pepper, pineapple, a hint of pine, whiskey and yeast. Also floral. I like white ipa’s. This one has a very nice balance of the wheat breadiness and hoppy bitterness that you would expect. It’s complex, delicate and refreshing. Very nice.
