[5562-20130701] Tap. Pine citrus floral resin aroma has a light banana note. Clear, orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter orange skins flavour. Medium body. Seems a little green but OK. (7/3/7/3/13) 3.3

Draft - Swwet stone fruit and honey, with some Belgium. Clear gold with a decent white head. Stone fruit, boozy sweetness and a bitter sweet finish Belgian yeasts gone wild, not my cup of type.

650ml bottle from Indie Ale House in Toronto, Ontario. Golden yellow in colour with a thin white head, good lacing. The aroma is of light spice, yeast, some bread, light fruit. The flavour has some orange citrus, yeast, good sweetness with a bit of spice. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long, spicy. A lovely beer, excellent mouthfeel.

Tap at Indie Alehouse. Pale golden pour with a thin sticky white head. The aroma has a lovely soft pear and apple character. A bit of light clove and some herbal/peppery aroma. Lean bodied with a bit of nice lemon. Really lovely brew.

On tap at the brewery. Golden yellow colour with a slightly hazy appearance. On the approach it jumps out belgian with nutmeg and vanilin esters and those yeasty notes with a hint of spice box. A classic palate with yeasty estery, vanilin sweetness and spice box and a full boozy touch. Big on those spice pines and yeastery esters. beautiful stuff.

On tap at the Indie Alehouse. Pours a sliightly cloudy golden colour with average-sized white head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, fruit and grains. Flavour has definite Belgian character with bread and some appley fruitiness. Fine carbontation. Goes down easily.

Pours slightly dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is pine hops with yeast and cereal. Taste is bright and a definitive belgian yeast taste coupled with pine and earthy hops.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a nice fruity sweet malt with light orange peels. In mouth, a light sweet candy sugar with orange notes, ok.

On draught at Bar Hop. Hazy gold, small off-white head. Spicy and slightly boozy aroma - weirdly it has a little campfire smoke tang, very pungent. Taste is more straight ahead Belgian golden - a bit boozy. Average body, good carbonation, slightly boozy finish. A bit odd, but decent.

2013-07-01. Hazy golden body, nice foamy white head fades. Aroma is really interesting, yeasty with almost vanilla like accents? Later samples have more banana like esters so who knows how much of that vanilla character was in the beer vs in my head. Light bready notes and pale malt. Very light alcohol. Flavour is a bit sharp up front, fairly bitter, light alcohol. Has a sort of grassy not quite lemony quality to it that I can’t put my finger on. Average plus bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Pretty interesting. Enjoyable. Paired nicely with my meat pie from Kanga. Om nom nom! On tap at Brewer’s Backyard event, Toronto
