Aroma: roasty of Inka barley coffee , dry dark character a la Schwartz
Appearance: flat top , dark brown-black. 2+
Palate / Taste: medium light bodied. Lighter carbonation. Fairly dry with dark feel. Schwartz with wheat ale and then added high alpha hops ? Interesting.

Cask at Cask Days 2012. Eighteenth beer of the fest. Pours a very dark brown with an average size long-lasting bubbly tan head. Aroma has lots of fruit and some chocolate -- the fruit and chocolate combo is quite lovely. The flavour, which has an almost harsh bitter finish to it, is a bit roasty and sweet -- not much initial flavour but a big finish. Average bodied. Pretty good.

2012-10-27. Very dark brown body, small frothy tan head. 3+ Modest aroma, leafy green hops, sort of fruity lightly yeasty touch. Wheat notes if you look hard, maybe? 7+ Flavour is similar, nice leafy green hops, sweetish malt undercurrents. 7+ Average bodied palate. 3+ Enjoyable. Cask Days 2012 at Brick Works, Toronto

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub. Aromas of roast and chocolate. Opaque black with a nice bubbly mocha coloured head, and lacey. Tastes of chocolate and wheat with roast and spice. Smooth mouthfeel. Good drinkability.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a very dark brown with good-sized lacy tan head. Aroma is quite roasty wheat with a light hoppiness. Flavour basically follows although almost more smoky than roasty. Lightly carbonated. Pleasant.

Dark brown with slightl tan head and nice lace. Nice roasted flavour with some hop bitter. Some sweet notes in the aftertaste.
