The aroma is almost "dirty socks gone wild," very earthy and a bit funky without being offputting. Tan head with so-so retention and poor lacing. The palate! I wasn’t expecting greatness from all that had gone before, but this is one complex beer. Very creamy with notes of earth, spices, caramel, toffee. coffee...I could go on. Every sip reveals something new, and the creamy mouthfeel and snappy finish do nothing to distract. Not an everyday pour, but a damned fine seasonal.

Seasonal ale with roasted sweet potato and spices. Taste is a very subtle Belgian tinged complex blend, toasted marshmallow, almost coconuty, toffee, caramel, and fall spices of cinnamon and nutmeg
