Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy dark golden color with a small foamy white head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy candied golden fruits. The flavor was sweet and tangy sugar and a strong fruit cocktail presence. Very long sweet sugar and fruit cocktail finish. Moderately full bodied.

Bottle from Lushawn, no blue wax on my bottle so that’s stupid.

Pours blonde with a small but well retained head.

The aroma is fruity, a touch sweet, a touch doughy... but mostly malty & fruity.

Woah! This beer tastes damn funny, there is this sweetness upfront, and a ton of fruity character, and some vanilla... it’s reminiscent of some of the tootsie roll frootie variants. But man this sucker is tart, as tart as about any Berliner Weisse I’ve ever had. The sweetness fades quickly to a dry finish. Loads of tart fruit flavor, strawberry & lemon particularly.... Wow this is going down easy.

Slightly hazy pale golden colour, slight white head. Quite funky aroma, boiled egg, some malts. Light acidic flavour, quite fruity. Fruity sour finish.
Not bad, but not great either. Mainly a bit weird. Granted, it does have a fancy look with the wax and all, but the only question I have is: why?? It doesn’t seem to improve with aging, so why give the impression?

Unclear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, tart fruit, peach, light pineapple. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Stange !! [20121006]

Hazy yellow orange body and small grey head. Light funk, oranges, cider and basement aromas. Nice sweetness with solid plucking citric sourness, not vinegar like. Much better than expected. Tasty. (At ZZT V)

33cl bottle @ ZZT V. Opaque yellow-ish color, small white head that disappears fairly quickly. Smell and taste sourish, dusty, sour fruits, cellar and something weird. Low to medium body, medium carbo.

@ZZT V. Hazy yellow with no head. Smells sweet, overripe fruit. Tastes sour, fruity, some peach. Fizzy carbo, medium body.

Pours a hazy straw to golden color with a one finger soapy white head. The head recedes to a skim and leaves a little lace. The aroma is a little faint, it has a slight sweet green fruit smell at the front before a funk, clove smell comes through strong with a hint of spiciness. The taste starts out with a slight sweet green fruit tatse. The taste gives way to a nice mild sour taste. The end of the beer has a slight spiciness. The beer is lightly carbonated. Overall for the style this is a soild beer. The mild sour taste gives it some nice character. This is a good beer to try.

citrus, lemon light sweetness, light body, a real light blonde ale if you can call it one. Refreshing on a hot day.
