Bottle at Winking Lizard Crosswoods. Clear gold pour with a huge, fluffy white head. Funky and malty nose with notes of tart raspberry. Sweet berry flavor along with some malt before a semi-tart finish. I could see this being a decent lawnmower beer.

Bottle at the White Horse. Cloudy orange blond colour with big white head. Aroma is a bit weird, but nice. Something savoury in there. Creamy fruity, strawberries and cream, bit citrus, floral. Taste is very fruity, citrus passion fruit, mango, touch of sourness. Spritzy in the mouth. Lots of creamy malt and lots of fruit with a long lasting orange fruity creamy finish. Very nice, not sure why it has such a low score. Very refreshing.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines. Pours with masses of bits. It’s yellow too. Smells a bit pineapple, a bit cardboard orange. Very dry lemon, tinging on actual sourness. Not a Golden as such. In fact, not sure what it is. Strange idea too, for a brewer in the US (where nice bottled beers are plentiful), to brew like in the UK, where we don’t really know how to bottle our tradiotional output. Not sure this really works.

355ml bottle. Pours almost like orange juice in colour with a good head to start with. The head falls back to a thin layer of lace and there are gentle bubbles. The nose has initial some pungent sultana aroma but it subsides to leave a really green vegetable smell, maybe green beans which is then followed by a pungent earthy note, maybe rotting mangoes. The taste is like a cross between lemon meringue and mushy peas - weird. The palate is rich in structure with a tangy middle section texture and it cleans on the end. Overall, having tried two beers from this brewery, I’d say that it’s hard to define which style these beers fit into and also it’s hard to define the style of the brewery overall. Either they like mixing an unusual combination of ingredients within an unusual brewing process or their yeast is completely separate from the normal spectrum of yeasts held in breweries. Do I like it, well it’s better than the average beer I rate but not one of the best, on the other hand there is definitely room for this sort of diversity.

12 oz. bottle from lushawn- thanks, little buddy! Neato label and short blue wax cap with a string. Pours a semi-cloudy golden color with a white head that lasts and some ascending bubbles. Aroma of lemon citrus, grapes, apples, floral hops, and pale malts. Flavor of more tart fruits like lemons and grapes, straw, grassy hops, and just a hint of honey. Light-bodied, with a tart mouthfeel and crisp carbonation. Was the tartness intentional? I don’t care, it worked like a charm.

This poured a golden color with a white head. Aroma was light grasy and bland 2 row malt. Flavor was much the same, very bland malt and a little bit sweet.

Bottle at Winking Lizard. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that has pretty good retention. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt and fruit. Light body with a fruity character and notes of sweet malt and yeast. The finish is fruity, malty and short. Just average overall.

Thanks to Ryan011235 for this tick. 12oz bottle. Hazy blond color with a quickly fading white head. The aroma is sunblock, funk, and pale malt. Very faint. The flavor is very weird, also like sunblock. What’s the SPF of this stuff. Funk, pale malt, strawberry, and diacetyl round it out. Man this is nasty. Unexciting palate with lower carbonation and medium-light body. Bad. Just bad.
