50 cl. flaske. Rød-brun farve og ganske uklar. Off-white top.

It smells wonderful of citrus, a little banana, coriander and dried exotic fruits. Palate is creamy and full-fat with lots of fruity undertones. As wheat bock it is probably a little too hoppy and dry aftertaste. It is probably almost a wheat pale ale, because of its relatively high hop bitterness that still keeps its malt sweetness and take over some of the pleasant side towards the end.

Copenhagen 23/2 2015. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. Pours reddish brown with a substantial off-white head. Only slowly dissipating. Very Christmas-like. Aroma is a little sweet perfumed and fruity. Ripe and fermented fruits. Medium carbonation. Taste is rather bitter - not that much wheat coming through. Lingering aftertaste with dry finish. Nice one.

Aroma is low, but contains sweetness, some oranges and the smell of an old cellar (dark, cold). A rather sweet beer with notes of alcohol, some ripe fruit, wheat and bread. It has a dry alcoholic finish

bottle @ friends. Appearance: pours unclear amber with powerful frothy white head with some lacing. aroma/taste: grain, caramel, orange, brown sugar, wheat and fruity notes. palette: medium carbonation, medium body, some malt sweetness, average bitterness, medium duration, dry finish and an oily texture. Overall: Refreshing and different Christmas brew.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Amber coloured body, red-tinged, and with a wheat haze. Dissipating, frothy, off-white head leaving decent lacing down the glass. Smell of orange fruit on a backbone of wheat added by a mild vapour of alcohol. The taste profile is a kind of bittersweet mix of spiced citrus fruits, wheat and brown malts. Fruity bitterness to the ending. Very foamy on the swallow preventing the most of the alcohol from getting through. Drinkable, but the beer gives a slightly disjointed feel (Tromsø 21.12.2014).

bottle from superbrugsen enghavevej cloudy brown, smooth yellow brownish head. aroma is spices, hops, malts, wheat. flavor is quite spicy, bitter malty, faint sort of spicy bitterness. i don’t like this one, even for a weizenbock.
