2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a clear, copper-brown with a big, but diminishing off-white head. Sweetish floral aroma. Slight notes of yeast and faint metallic notes. Feels somewhat ‘dull‘. Flavour is sweetish with slight yeast and floral notes. Feels thin, and the ‘dull’ feeling is here as well. Boring finish. Palate is oily and slightly cloying. 09-03-07.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reddish deep brown with small off white head. Sweet, wheat and yeasty aroma with notes of roasted malt. Caramelly hefeweizen taste. Alcohol and metallic notes are present as the beer gets warmer. Carbonation at the standard level for a hefeweizen. Oily alcohol bock feel. Sweet bitter finish, a bit short.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Frankly, I wasn’t impressed by this ber. It tasted ... well ... thin! Watered, insufficiently tasty. I wouldn’t select it for a dinner.

Sample at Copenhagen beer festival 2006. Hazy brownish colour. Bit sweet and roasty malty aroma. Fæavour os strong in roasted malt and alcohol with a nice wheatness. A good very strong dark German style wheat bock.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Unclear dark reddish brown colour with a nice creamy head. Light aroma of malt and bread. Plastic taste comes through as in most strong wheat beer. Quite sweet, but not overly so.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
An unclear dark nut-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is wheaty - which lends it a bit of acidity combined with notes of caramel and a slightly burnt note. The flavor is very sweet with an OK note of wheat, combined with notes of banana, caramel, and a bit of burnt malt. The alcohol is clearly evident, at first giving a warmth to the tongue, and later giving a slight burn in the throat. The end is a mixture of dry wheat and caramel.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This struck me as a funny blend of Aventinus and Leute Bock -- overripe bananas from the former and the sour sweetness of the latter. I like both these beers a lot, so for me that’s a good thing. Head is plenty fizzy and doesn’t stay with you very long. Ends up a tad on the sweet side, but it’s made well and good to go. One for the ladies, too.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Brown, unclear. Beige lasting - very dense - head. Great flavour with wheat, bread, muscovado sugar and a slight touch of yeast. Bananas? Malty sweet aroma, wheat and muscovado again, some fruity notes too, like peers and melon. Somewhat sugarsticky palate. Hides the ABV very well.
