COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Hvede I.P.A.

TEJA (1278) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 9, 2012
A mix-pack from Systembolaget, Sweden. High but short off white head. Clear solid yellow color. A very nice complex arorma of both aromatic hops, bananas and some cloves. Big taste with both wheat malts, hops and small fruitiness, sparkling and solid body. Unorthodox wheat beer but very good and innoventive. A wheat beer for the autun.

Bottle. 5.5%. Best before 09.07.13. Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with an off-white head. Bit of lacing. Aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, and with hops hiding in the background. As it warms, notes of fruit, light citrus/orange and pineapple appear. Flavour is sweet and fruity with yeast, wheat and a slight grainy/alcohol overtone. Remote plastic note as it warms. Bitter and somewhat tart finish with a lingering sweetness and a shy citrus note. Overall okay, but had expected – and hoped for – more outspoken hops in a beer that uses the IPA term. 22.10.12.
