Hvid is a astringent fresh, citrusy, and a perfect thirst quencher in the summer heat. Bring the beer to the terasse, to the park, or to the beach, and quench Your thirst in the warm sunshine. Or enjoy the beer together with newly caught fish, shellfish, or summer salads. Hvid is brewed from barley and wheat malt, but is also added unmalted wheat from the area around Indslev. The beer is also added a selected mixture of spices, that adds to the beers aroma. Serve the beer refrigerator cold in the largest glass in the house. Shake the last 10-15 ml. before pouring.

0,5l bottle from the Kamppi Supermarket. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is malts with some yeast, as is the flavor. Not the best witbier but definitely drinkable.

A cloudy, golden beer with a medium and white head. Aroma of malts, wheat, lemon and honey. Taste of malts and only slightly wheat, grass, some spices and lemon. Quite light, fresh and nicely strong carbonation. Hvid is not convincing, too lager like beer with only hint of witbier nuancees. Quite refreshning, but that is not change the fact that the beer is not fullfilled the exceptations.

500 ml bottle. 4.4%. BB 11/03/2014. (K-Citymarket) Espoo, Finland.
Hazy yellow golden colour with an average sized dense creamy white head. Caramel sweetness, wheat, yeast and spices in the aroma. The flavour is wheaty and sweet with some yeast notes. Easy and uninspiring.

En god let sommerøl, der også er god til en frisk grillet fisk på terrassen. Få men gode smagsnuancer

Bottle, 50 cl. A slightly hazy pale golden beer with a small white head. Spicy flowery, light citrusy, wheaty nose. Watery texture. Taste is very light wheaty with a surprisingly hoppy, light bitter, dry, light astringent finish. Not a classic Wit, but who cares?
