Hvid is a astringent fresh, citrusy, and a perfect thirst quencher in the summer heat. Bring the beer to the terasse, to the park, or to the beach, and quench Your thirst in the warm sunshine. Or enjoy the beer together with newly caught fish, shellfish, or summer salads. Hvid is brewed from barley and wheat malt, but is also added unmalted wheat from the area around Indslev. The beer is also added a selected mixture of spices, that adds to the beers aroma. Serve the beer refrigerator cold in the largest glass in the house. Shake the last 10-15 ml. before pouring.

Draught at home. A perfect thirst quencher. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Notes of wheat, coriander and wheat in aroma. Flavour is citric, wheaty and spicy but a little watery. This beer needs a little more body.

Amazingly boring, even for a wit. Would probably be better if it was completly fresh. This one was 1 week over bbf date. It looks alright, hazy pale yellow with a fine foamy white head. Aroma is a little grainy with minor notes of citrus. Flavor is completly watered down, sparkling water with citrus that turnes into beer mixed with water. Does have some bitterness towards the end.

Small white head, hazy yellow body. Mealy fruity citric aroma. Thin acidic mealy wheat taste with a metallic, acid feel to it. Thin, harsh, chalky mouthfeel, almost like there is acid in it. Aftertaste is just a fading of the acidity. No good. (0.25l draft at Lord Nelson.)

BeerBiker (1413) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 18, 2007
[Draught at Eventyrløbet, 2007.] After a 5 km run I almost ran directly to the Indslev bar to taste their Wit to clean the salt in my mouth. Very refreshing, but not as much as expected. Has some other notes as usually such as parfume, cream, yeast, hospital and soap. All in a different way never before tasted, but I think it’s the way they want it. I had a Sort hvede after, which was much better!
