COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2008 Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. Pours a hazy, orange-yellow body with a nice off-white head. Decent aroma with citrus, banana, pale malt, a little grainyness and a faint clove scent. Fruity, weak flavor with citrus and banana, as well as a hoppy bitterness. A bit thin on the palate, and with a bitterness in the finish. Quaffable, but a bit boring, and not that well-crafted, and not much Easter-ish. Whatever that may be. Like the hoppy touch though. (080229)

Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Hazy thick looking yellow body. Fruity vanilla dominated aroma. Sweet, fruity vanilla flavor and some spice I cannot quite figure out. Low carbonation. Long sweet aftertaste.

Bottled. A golden beer with a slight haze under a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of wheat, but also a slight acidity comibined with light notes of alcohol and citrus. A decent wheat beer, but not much easter in it.

(bottle, with thanks to Papsoe for the sample) Cloudy, orange colour with a fluffy foamy white head. Sweet and yeasty malty nose, faint wheaty and slightly fruity with a flowery, also perfumed touch. Light sweet flavour with a light lactic sourness, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft malty, light wheaty base with yeasty and fruity accents; slightly sweet and wheaty finish with a subtle fruitiness, again with rather perfumed (malty) notes. Not very convincing for a Hefeweizen with “Märzen strength” and definitely not my cup of tea.

Bottle. A light hazy yellow beer with a big white head. The aroma is sweet malty, wheaty, spicy and of hay, so is the taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow coloured with a white head. Aroma of caramel, fruits, spices and hops. Sweet flavour of fruits, spices ad hops. Tastes more like a belgian blonde or saison than a wheat beer. Interesting.
