COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Roasted, malty nose with gentle aromas of coffee, chocolate and ashes. Roasted, malty taste with notes of coffee, chocolate and a slightly citric wheat character coming through after a while. Mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. Quite fresh. Medium body, fairly dry, with a slightly prickly carbonation. Quite nice.

The head is robust and brown, the body is dark black. It tastes a bit wheatmalty, cream-roasty. Ok but it sounds more interesting than it is . 13/9/8/9/10/9

Bottle from polet Storo enjoyed at home<br Pours dark, black in glass, finger thick tanned head. Aroma of roasted malts, hints of smoke, some coffee. Taste is quite malt driven, not much sweetness, i find bacon and smoke, also some coffee. Finish comes with a nice malt bitterness, also some hops. Full bodied, soft to flat carbonation. Totally a different kind of beer, for me it’s mostly a stout but there is also some nice elements from a smoked. The wheat was not very dominant in this one

Bottle (33cl) from Oslo Mekaniske Verksted. Small offwhite head, black colour. Stout character dominates, but the wheat gives an interesting twist, making it a very interesting brew.
