Hazy brown, from a Danish discount supermarket. Lots of malty sweetness, caramel, grain. Not too much what character here. True to style there is a fine bockish sourness in the background. Pleasant beer.

0,5 l. bottle bought at the brewery. Hazy, brown colour with a beige, long lasting head. Fruits and malts in the aroma with caramel, malts, spices, banana, bread and nuts. Medium body with a creamy texture. Taste is medium sweet with a long sweet malty finish. Light burn from the alcohol - this a bock after all. Good beer.

Bottle. 29 days past ’best before’. Pours a slightly hazy amber brown with a creamy beige head and a bit of lacing. Soft aroma; malty with a touch of (citrus) hops, fruity and a bit grainy. Tart, sweetish flavour with dark fruits and a spicy note. Remote metallic note as it warms. Bitter, fruity finish with lingering grainy and grassy notes (the latter approaching cloves) and a slight alcohol burn. Slightly oily palate, but with a sting to it, which complements the oiliness well. 23.09.11.

27.08.2011. 0,5l Bottle. Fakta, Thisted, Denmark. Dark brown colour with off-white head. Aroma is malty with notes of dark and roasted malts. Almost a little burnt. The label says that there is four types of maltin this beer. I dont think that shows in this beer, the flavour is dominated by roasted malt. Moderate bitterness and there is not that much bitterness.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2012 Black creamy beer with a delicious foam tasted several times also where it has been over date, still good..

Bottle : Poured a dark brown color beer with a foamy off-white head with OK retention and not much lacing. Aroma of dry cereal notes with some light lingering sweetness and some light dry fruits notes. Taste is a balanced mix between some dry cereal notes with some caramelized malt notes and light lingering sweet notes ta the end. Body is fuller then average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Interesting though not earth shattering – lacking some esters.

Bottle, pours pitch dark with high fluffy off white head..... aroma is coffee, bread, fresh... the flavor is sweet, roasted malt, strong coffee.... nice mouthful though it is strong in a funny way.... no bitter more like coffee strong :) nice..... but special! ;) it is ok....

Bottle. It came as a bit of a surprise to me that this beer was dark brown with brown head, and looked, smelled and taste quite much as a stout. As I had expected a different beer that probably reflected my ratings a bit, another day in other circumstances, I might have rated it higher. Aroma roasted malts, chocolate, caramel. Taste roasted malts, some bitterness, very soft. Not much wheat to be detected. Could be interesting to know how much spelt (ancient wheat) that´s actually is in this beer.

Bottle @ Home. Pours dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, fruit. Taste is wheat, coffee, chocolate, fruit, Creamy body, soft carbonation. Very nice and easy drinking beer. 250810

Black/brown with white head. Fruty fragrances. Sweet and smooth with good and lasting finish with just enough bitterness. Fills your mouth.
