Odd unclear brownish colour with an unstable tanned head. An acidic aroma containing burned coffee and malts and a flavour containing acids and alcohol as well. I’m afraid that as soon as the mental image of sewage appeared i wasn’t really able to enjoy this one.

On tap at Århus Ølfestival. A murky brown beer with a medium sized beige head leaving nice lacings. Caramel and banana in the aroma, quite malty-sweet and with some cloves. Caramel and banana flavor too, sugary-sweet with some cloves and a gentle bitterness. Full-bodied and effervescent. Long bitter finish with some white sugar. A quite nice beer that I could easily down a few of on a late summer evening. (080516)

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2008 Unclear dark brown with a lasting tan head. Toffee and roasted malt in the aroma with very little typical wheat yeast notes. Dry and malty flavour with rich toffee notes. This final version of a long time work in progress is easily the best.
