Draught. Low white and quickly disappearing head. Very dark, well black, body. If there is an aroma I cannot find it. Heavily caronated mild caramel flavor. A bit anonymous. Low carbonation, short aftertaste.

Pours muddy brown with a fine, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is softly bready malty with som good toffee. Okay creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is fine, malty, lightly roasted and subdued toffee. Good sweetness overall with a good finishing hoppy bitterness.

Tap @ YNWA. This brew is insanely underrated. One of the best experimental brews I’ve had in quite some time. Missing it (sadly) at both previous beer festivals, YNWA in Kolding managed to get hold of one keg. After writing with the brewer, he told me that the beer I tasted was from the original batch, perhaps different because of aging, but no matter what, it was certainly stunning. It poured a muddy golden red with a brown hue to it. Head was stunning, creamy off-white and stayed there throughout an entire pint - and that even when most of it were stuck to the glass from top to bottom at the end :o). Aroma was very sweet with a definite wheatyness to it, but there were tones of fruit, raisins, plums and cherries. Mouthfeel is very creamy and round, gliding down easily. Flavours are very well balanced between wheaty sweetness and a softly warming alcohol backbone with a clear fruity sourness coming through it all. As a drank it, I sat thinking: "Is this the worlds first wheat lambic?". During the pleasure of drinking it, I found notes of cinnamon, smoked malts and plums. As a surprising afterthought the beer manages to hit me with a clear peppery bitterness that never seems out of place. As I started this review - one of the most underrated brews in Denmark - sadly only brewed once (and never on bottle).

(on tap) A very subtle beer; gettng quite boring drinking all these fine mixes of malts and then standing with a plain, withheld, rather dull beer. Not even the esters to follow up the syle and I will never undrstand the average of 3.37.

500. Thanks, TheWolf! This is a yummy little beer. Pours nearly black with some rubied highlights. Thin gray rim. Modest lacing. Big, roasty, wheaty, bready nose. Smells like whole grain brown bread in a major way. Rich, creamy, smooth, easy-drinking body. Nut, caramel, brown bread, and a bit of cola on the mid-palate. A nice, dark, sweet, restrained harmony. Long sweet grainy finish. This is nice stuff.

Another superb brew from this nice place in a tiny little village at Funen. A wonderful look of a darkgolden and hazy nice fluid getting my teeths running into water. Nosenotes of smoke, alcohol, wheaty yeast. Similar flavornotes, very smooth, fruits and all in all a good brew!
