50cl bottle. Pours dark brown with fluffy brown head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with some fruit and hint of hops. Flavor is a nice caramel/toffee/roast malt flavor, moderately complex and pleasant, with a hint of alcohol and hops in the finish. A fairly restrained weizen bock (despite the 7% ABV), but solid.

Tasted 2011-03-22. My wife won this by answering a poll of some sort. It pours cloudy, dark brown with beige/light brown head. Aroma is bananas, bananas and bananas. Tasting it brings out rye bread aswell. Finish is moderately bitter. Quite drinkable.

(Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, 4 March 2011) Dark brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of dark bread, toasty grain and hints of raw fish. Quite neutral. Malty, roasted taste with dark bread, raisins, coffee, ashes and a mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced with a slightly tricky malt profile. Quite nice.

Bottle. Dark brown, hazy, small and fully light brown diminishing head. Moderate malty – wheaty, sweetish aroma, lightly fruity and bitter. Body is average, malty – wheaty, lightly sweet flavor, light fruitiness and alcohol. Finish is short to average, malty and dryish, light alcohol and spiciness. Strong wheat bock, too much alcohol considering the body, finish is quite sharp – spicy.
