COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: Also known as "Indslev Campus" and earlier as "Indslev Enthusiator" and "Forsøgsbryg T8".

Danish: Spelt Bock er mørk med cremet skum og perlende små bobler. Her er det de dybe og mørke nuancer, der bringes i spil i både farve og aroma. Den er rig på smagsoplevelser og er ganske usædvanligt brygget på hele fire typer korn: hvede, byg, rug og spelt. Det første smagsindtryk af korn, humle og de mørke maltaromaer toner over i en fin eftersmag med antydning af mørk chokolade og kaffe, som skyldes den ristede spelt. Spelt Bock er ideel til kraftige retter og ostebordet. Server den som alternativ til rødvin. Den er bedst kælderkold og i et stort glas, så den får lov at fylde og skumme.

6th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Very dark brown beer, light just passes through. Short lived creamy head. Light airy palate. Dark malt, smooth and dry and a little minerally. Not getting any speltiness coming throuh. Decent enough.

A strange, sour, but somehow interesting brew. Flavor has some sour malts (spelt?), dry hops, and some sweet liquorice. Worth a try, but I would not buy it again.

ersma: vier getreidesorten sind drin, weizen, gerste, roggen und spelt - ausgerechnet der namensgeber steht nicht im wörterbuch... nahezu schwarz mit rubinrot im gegenlicht. mittelviel schaum, der mittelstabil ist. der geruch ist röstmalzig mit kaffeearoma. der antrunk ist röstmalzig und hopfig mit aromen von karamell, kräutern und kaffeebohnen, hat aber auch süßliche anklänge. die mitte ist malzig-süßlich und macht klebrige lippen. ein wenig wie schwarzbier. der abgang ist eher auf der malzseite und bringt gewürznoten mit. das späte ende wird hopfiger, aber malz bleibt die hauptnote. die flasche ist schlicht und gelungen. der fliegende schwan findet sich auf dem frontetikett als „wappen“ und dazu auf dem halsetikett und em kronekorken wieder. fazit: gut trinkbarer weizenbock, probierenswert.

Bottle@Home. Vanilla, chocolate, coffee and dark malts aroma. Murky brown, beige head, fair lace. Sweet, pretty bitter, laurel, coffee, hoppy flavours in the yeast. Soft, in the finish a bit metallic. Strange brew, like a dry hopped Weizenbock.

Bottled. Hazy deep orangeish brown colour with mediumsized beigeish head. Aroma is roasted malts, some coffee and wood along with some fruits and mild sweetness. Flavour is quite much the same with also some maltyness present. Quite interesting.

Bottle. Chocolate nose. Murky brown capucino head. Roast coffee and chocolate, minerally grains with a good dose of aromatic hops. Definitely stoutlike. Citric retronasal. Quite pleasant. Wellbalanced grainbill, good job.

Sampled at bakkens beerfestival. Hazy orange look. Aroma reminds me of a swartzbeer. Clean roasted and toasted along with some overripe fruity notes. Finish is a little tart along with the bitter roasted notes.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2010 Cloudy brown with a white head. Aroma is wheat malt and light caramel. Flavour is malty with light hop notes (grass, pine and flower). 6-3-5-3-11 2.8 Rerate at kullinarisk sydfyn 26-06-10: Pours cloudy brown with a beige head. Aroma is breaddy wheat malt and light hop. Flavour is breaddy malt, light wheat, light hop and light fruity notes.

Bottle @ Bakken. Pours dark brown close to black with a creamy white head on top. Very sweet buttery aroma. Smooth and phat. Vague roast. Caramel and liquorice. Ends dry. Quite nice.
